I've dined 3 times at Campagnola and each time, completely underwhelmed. There are many much better it alien restaurants in this city. Also, the service each time was average at best, almost doing us a favour. When my elderly friend asked for a more comfortable chair, the server acted as if this was such a huge deal and he was... Was taken here by a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hardly needed a reservation on a Sunday evening at 7:30. 3 of us shared 3 starters and 3 mains and left the table stuffed. Highlights were the sweetbreads, lamb shank and risotto

Full disclosure: Chef Craig is my son. Notwithstanding that, I suggest that you'll have a wonderful time at Campagnolo. The food is creative and brilliantly presented. You'll love the vibe and come away maybe even having seen some famous faces. I also find it a great place to do business.

We live not too far from the restaurant and have been going semi-regularly since it opened several years ago. Craig is a talented chef and cares very much about the quality of food and the dining experience at his restaurant. Though there are many... far too many! excellent restaurants in Toronto and we want to try new places, we just... More

Things started well. After a brief wait at the door, we were greeted with a smiling apology and taken to our table. Service was wonderful throughout: engaging, knowledgable and anticipatory. We stared with the house made baguette and gougeres, fresh Burrata cheese and beef carpaccio. The Burrata is a must-have and is large enough to share; very creamy and not... More

This was a highly recommended restaurant that was very disappointing. Located in an up and coming section of Dundas, the room is nice enough, but could have been better lit - I could hardly read the menu. We were there for the early seating and the waiter pounced on us - he seemed to be pushing us all evening in... More

I went here in mid August for a girlfriend's bachelorette party with a group of about 10. Walking in to the restaurant made you feel like someone special. The ambiance is beyond words. So gorgeous and intimate. Once we arrived, we were seated right away. The waitress gave us a few moments to settle in and then came to take... More

Went here with our son and his girlfriend. Service was extremely good and waiter really put on a show. Menu was limited with 4 starters and 4 mains. Food was well presented but on the pricey side.

You has us at bone marrow. Lovely experience and wonderful service. Small menu with creative flavours. We would definitely return with friends.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
