Good, not Great. Small chance of return.

I heard about this restaurant on BlogTO and they rated it as the #1 Italian restaurant. It most definitely was not the #1 and this is not the first time BlogTO has been way off. The good news was that the Food was excellent, probably the best spaghetti I ever ate. The cocktails were... read more

We went there because of Zagats reviews. Top restaurant price, but regular food and service. Limited menu, expensive wine list, more or less food. I Do not recommend!

We met friends here for dinner in the middle of the week and the restaurant was fairly busy however the service, quality and speed remained top notch. I'd summarize it as a modern take on traditional Italian Cuisine with extremely welcoming staff. We started with a bottle of wine which the waitress and sommelier were very helpful in choosing. The... More

Welcome, service and food were all stars! Intimate Italian in Little Italy was a refreshing find in the big city of Toronto! The burrata appetizer was huge and amazing! The gnocchi were delicate and rewarding ! The wine selection was perfect! It was a great find a little off the beaten path of downtown Toronto!!

We were walking by and picked Campagnolo just based on the nice patio area, and were extremely pleased with our dinner! There is an emphasis on "farm to table" and fresh ingredients, the menu changes daily. There is a nice wine list and fancy cocktails. We also had the baguette, which was very good as well! A very nice restaurant... More

We went on Sunday evening and the place was full. As a result, service was slow. However the menu was inventive and, when it came, the meal was well-prepared and lived up to anticipation. The room is pleasant and roomy enough, music not too obstreperous, location (Dundas W at Euclid) is quite convenient, at least for us.

This was my second visit to Campagnolo and I left with the same impression: best bets are the warm house made baguette and the war olives. With everything else in the remains section, one takes a chance. In my group of four, one guest was happy with the main (spaghetti) two left hungry and unimpressed (chorizo, haddock and clams, a... If you enjoy good food and a fun vibe, then you will enjoy Campagnolo. The restaurant is located in the quickly emerging strip of new restaurants on Dundas St, west of Bathurst. The atmosphere is nice, with tile floors, wood tables, antique looking chairs, and chandeliers setting the vibe. We choose to sit at the bar and were on the... More

The restaurant is relativley small, but some lucky patrons can sit at the bar and watch them work their magic in the kitchen. It is a tastefully decorated room with a sophisticated atmosphere and very attentive service. We were four in our group, all lovers of great Italian food and we were not disappointed. We shared starters including the house-made... More

On Friday, April 24th...we had reservations for 5 at Campagnolo's! It was a most memorable night! It was my husband's 65th birthday and we were celebrating with my daughter, son in law and youngest son. My husband and I came in from out of town to spend the weekend in TO and wanted a special place to celebrate his birthday.... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
