They know how the meat should be.

This is a cozy place. Beautiful restaurant. The guys in the bar are fantastic and the service is perfect, all them are very kind and know about every meat. I love going to the Keg, and go a few times a year, usually with friends or family, sometimes to celebrate my birthday or our wedding anniversary. It's always comfy and cozy and everything is so yummy. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at any Keg. Love this location because my hubby and I used to go... More

I had a hankering for a nice juicy steak and the Keg did not disappoint. The restaurant is located inside an old mansion which really adds to the charm. I had a NY sirloin which was perfectly cooked and very good. The staff was very helpful and polite. Definitely worth splurging a bit.

I have eaten many times at the Keg, but this was the first time I attended this location, (Keg Mansion). The building is amazing, as was the food. After a day of exploring the Distillery district of Toronto, we decided to attend this location for dinner. I have never had a bad meal at any Keg restaurant! This restaurant didn't... More

Excellent appetizer of stuffed mushrooms followed by a perfectly cooked med-rare steak!- so tender I could cut it with a butter knife!- good selection of wine and after dinner coffee drinks.

When I want to indulge and reward myself while in Toronto this is where we eat. We all had excellent dinners. Three out of four of our group had the bacon wrapped filet and ate every bite! I have been here multiple times and continue to think the quality of the food and the atmosphere are worth every penny I... More

The food at the Keg is great no matter which location you go to. The added charm of this one is the mansion it's located in. Popularly known as the Keg Mansion, it is hands down the most Kegs of them all. Known to be haunted, this place draws in a lot of people. The staff is very friendly and... More

We were there last night, a group of four. We all enjoyed our meals. The steaks were done to perfection. Our Server, Amanda, was very nice, very friendly with knowledge of the mansions history. Great atmosphere! We were in Toronto to see The Phantom and made reservation for dinner. If we lived closer , this would be our new favourite... More

This is not your ordinary Keg. Yes, the food is great - I love the fillet mignon. The service is always great but the other big star is the location and it's history. Euclid Hall, also known as the old Massey manor is a prominent Toronto heritage building built in 1868. Purchased in 1882 by the Massey family (namesake of... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
