Great English Atmosphere

Went an they happened to be having a creemore promotion and we had free pints. Atmosphere is nice but size not great for large groups.

Duke of Kent was a very nice place i've visited in Toronto. A good variety of beers and dishes... and a nice and comfortable place to go with friends.

Thank you for visiting the Duke of Kent and for posting your review. We're glad you enjoyed the pub's atmosphere and the Creemore! Not sure if you know about it, but we do have the upstairs level which is more suitable for bigger groups. Regards, Amanda More

My wife, kids, and mother-in-law wanted to go to an ice-skating show. Needless to say, I did not. So I was looking for a place to park myself for a few hours, grab some brunch, and have a few brews. I wandered into The Duke of Kent, and was so glad that I did. Waitstaff was appropriately friendly and good... More

I'd like to preface this review by mentioning that not only have I been fortunate enough to have travelled to alot of different countries and cities, but I also enjoy drinking quite alot, so I feel I am qualified enough to give this place a good review. If you are from Toronto, this place should be your regular hangout. After... More

The atmosphere here is very British and the selection of beers and ales was second to none. Service is friendly, excellent and prompt and prices are competitive. This pub is a short walk from where I live and is a welcome sojourn when the fridge is empty!

The prices are decent, and the waitstaff is friendly. The manager makes sure to come by and personally greet you, which is a nice touch. My only complaint is that I got a burger and it came SO DRY. You could tell it was dry before even tasting it, it looked burned and shrivelled, and the cheese on it was... More

We had a very good meal this past Saturday night at The Duke of Kent at Yonge & Eglinton. Fish & Chips (for my daughter), Moroccan Vegetable Stew (for my wife), Shepherd's Pie (for me), and a few pints too. All very good. The waitress was friendly and efficient, and the manager came around later to see how we were... More

I have been going to the Duke of Kent over the years and kind of forgot about it. However we had some nieces and nephews in from out of town recently. The manager found a nice big table in the back and treated us very well. The food was awesome and the service was perfect. My fiance and I have... More

We had several drinks in here over Easter, great atmosphere and the place was buzzing again. Never had any food, tho it did look lovely, when served to table beside us.

we came here with our friend Nick, who lives a few blocks away. We loved the atmosphere, good choice of ales, good food served by girls in miniskirt (the skirt is made of Scottish tartan). To be recommended!
