This super cozy, classy hole in the wall was introduced to me by a friend. If I lived in Toronto this would be my local haunt. I just had drinks, but the atmosphere sold me completely. Dark and romantic! Service was great too!

Hardly a pub, yet not a french bistro or cafe...but vibe is the same! High quality food with a casual flair for awesome service translates to a great gastro night out in Greektown!

Not only is the service welcoming and the beer selection impressive, the menu has just the right choices for a Friday night escape, mixing casual comfort with quality and flavor. We dine here at least monthly and enjoy trying the specials as well as the reliable standard pub fare. And it's a perfect spot for drinks with friends before or... More

We have not stopped in in a while...love the new menu boards. A few changes to the menu make it even better, and it was always very good. I had the mussels....SO good. And a side of slaw, which was almost too much food. My husband had the burger, and he is picky. He loved it. Said it was nice... More

This was my first visit to the Danforth location. The service was quick and friendly. It has a nice catchy look from the outside and is very homely and warm on the inside. Great vibe. Wasn't too hungry, all I had were the mussels which we're outstanding. A bit disappointed that they only offer the one sauce for the mussels,... More

Based on the great review we recently had a birthday dinner for my daughter at the Auld spot. She wanted great poutine and this certainly delivered. I had the daily salmon special which was fantastic. Will definitely return.

Great restaurant on the Danforth. Excellent service when we visited the other day. My friend had the fish and chips and I the steak and both were delicious. Would definitely come back here again.

They have a small patio - just a few spots - although they do open up the front so you do get the fresh air. The menu is limited, wine list limited but lots of interesting choices in beer. They are very friendly - we had good service right away but they forgot the order when someone else joined us.

My friend and I had a late lunch here in Saturday. I had read on Toronto.com that this was one of the top 10 places in the city for Mac and Cheese - it sounded like it was worth a try and in our neck of the woods (east end). Things I loved about the experience - ambiance is excellent... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
