Upscale casual, downtown Toronto. The first JOEY to hit the streets of downtown Toronto. Located just off Yonge on Dundas, this place is a work of art - exposed brick walls, open-air dining, crazy custom lighting and the Enomatic wine system. great food, great environment,

I have been to this location a few times, think 3 times already this year, twice for business and once with family. On my last visit they lost my reservation but made up for it quickly, getting us a booth within 10 minutes. The staff is always friendly, looking to chat and recommend dishes. I... read more

I eat frequently at Joey in other cities, particularly my own. It's an easy choice for a variety of reasons. It's not fine dining, but the quality of food and customer service is far better than many independents. This particular restaurant is located on a busy street and although it wisely has no patio, it has large windows that open... More

Let's start with the best part: the service was amazing. Our waitress, Carol ("like Christmas Carol" - her words), was patient, friendly, attentive, kind, and funny. We visited for dinner after my brother's graduation. Our mother is an extremely picky eater and Carol patiently went over the menu with her to help her find something she could eat. They settled... We go to Joey's fairly often, but last night's fare was so good, i decided I would write about it. I had the the raw tuna ( well almost ) Asian salad and it was really great. Touches of citrus on argula, tomatoes, avocado and cucumber. It was a fresh and delicious treat. The tuna was barely cooked s it... More

I went with my fried for a dinner at Joey’s Eaton Center. We ordered two steaks, and one of them came cold and undercooked. It took them an eternity to make it up to order. While we were waiting somebody through a small hawk in an open window and it landed on a woman’s shoulder, she was scared and carefully... More

I was here for a work event so I can't comment on the full menu. The service and food were excellent, I was very impressed. I would describe it as upscale casual dining, if you want fast and cheap go to the Eaton Centre food court. The lobster grilled cheese and tandoori pizza were outstanding, I could eat those all... Friendly and attentive hostess and server. Food; shrimp and pesto flat bread and burger wrapped in lettuce was tasty and reasonably priced. It's a large, fairly busy restaurant and was perfect for our needs of a late lunch at 3pm.

Great food by any standards. The food was great but, very expensive. I had a burger and fries and it was $16.00, it really was nothing special. The steak was all well over $25. The seating was very nice but it is loud and busy. If you are looking to sit down an talk with friends go else where.

This is where the pretty people eat. And that's okay sometimes. I found the female staff very helpful, and the male staff very interested in the female staff (though I have a feeling it'd been the reverse if I was female). All that said - a really nice bar in a great location, with super service, and above average food.... More

Was there for lunch on May 23 and the food was great. Excellent customer care. The sushi roll is delicious. I ate the roast chicken which was good. The waitresses are smart and friendly. Good value for money
