Description: Upscale casual, downtown Toronto. The first JOEY to hit the streets of downtown Toronto. Located just off Yonge on Dundas, this place is a work of art - exposed brick walls, open-air dining, crazy custom lighting and the Enomatic wine system. We could go on, but you should come and see it for yourself.

What a fantastic kitchen they have at Joey -- four of us had three course meals that were all without exception exceptional dishes. The food was beautifully presented, contained fresh ingredients with really interesting flavours. And so original (grilled cheese with lobster!). I'm only sorry it's a sports bar as that lowered the tone and was not congruent with the... More

Joey's is a solid choice for a business lunch or an after work beverage. The food is good and reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and prompt. Special orders appear to be easily accommodated.

What more can I say! Delish! This is a great little spot for a nice lunch. Lovely ambiance and good service. We did not have reservations but the seating hostess made sure to give us frequent updates and even offered us a menu to take a look at so we could get our order in as soon as we were... More

First time at Joey and it was a very good experience. My wife and daughter had been before and liked it so we had dinner there on a downtown getaway. I had the Baja Fish Tacos that were very good. Great tasting and quite filling. My wife and daughter had the Veggie burger which was also quite tasty. My son... More

Was here just a year or so ago, had a decent steak with my boyfriend. There was no wait time for a table which was great, loved the atmosphere and décor. The bathrooms are about a kilometer down into the basement... (they really aren't joking) it made me a bit anxious. Service was okay, could use some improvement. Took a... More

Almost two years ago my wife and I ate here prior to a show but left with utter disappointment. They screwed up my wife's steak order, and it arrived cold. The slab of herb butter on the steak didn't even melt. The potatoes of my steak dinner were cold so I asked for new ones. By the time they arrived,... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. It was not overly crowded, which may have helped. Spacious tables, nice decor, casual chic vibe. Despite initial concerns about the plethora of bimbo-esque waitresses in little black dresses, the service was efficient. Great draft beer. And the food was actually very good, although my friites were a tad over salted. Key lime... More

My wife and I wanted a good, not too casual dinner before seeing The Jersey Boys at the Mirvish Theatre. We arrived around 5 p.m. without reservations. Not surprisingly, it was quite busy. We were told we had a 15 - 20 min wait. During our wait we were offered a glass of wine and water. Nice touch. We were... More

We had never been here before. Relaxed atmosphere although a bit loud. We met up for dinner with a couple friends and sat in a large booth. The food was excellent and the service was also. It's not too bad but a bit pricey for casual dining. I really enjoyed my salmon dinner!

Went to this restaurant with a friend on Saturday evening during busy hour. We were seated in less than 20 minutes. While waiting we were offered an appetizer and beverage - we thought it was a nice touch. We were seated in a booth at the front window area of the restaurant. Seating was very roomy. As soon as we... More
