Beautiful restaurant - went with a large group and service was ok. The salad and frites (with garlic aoli) were excellent. the steak, however, was inedible (so tough I had to spit it out). The dessert (creme brulee) was outstanding. I would consider going back but would not order the steak.

Lovely bistro - great location, gorgeous decor, good staff however my dinner was too salty - not once but twice. I ordered the Cassoulet (Duck confit) and knew within a couple of bites that the predominate flavour of the duck was saltiness. Staff was very courteous, promptly whisked it away and delivered my next choice which was steaks frite. Alas,... More

Reviews are a bit mixed for La Societe, a French bistro on Toronto's "Mink Mile" (Bloor Street) but I had a splendid lunch there on a busy Wednesday. The moules et frites were plentiful in a very tasty wine broth and my glass of dry Provencal rose was just the right accompaniment. The frites came in their own little wire... More

For such unique interior design probably one of the best in Toronto, food is very average and service is even worse.

Love this spot for brunch... they have a great lobster eggs benedict. We came here with our adult son after Christmas shopping on Bloor Street. This is a lovely spot to stop after shopping on Bloor Street.

The restaurant is probably one of the most beautiful in all of Toronto ! The location had a great view epically for all the lovers of fashion looking over to Cartier and hermes etc.. The last two stars are missing because the service is lacking - no grace or charm - and our server was very rough around the edges... More

Hustle bustle and clamor, not a broad menu, but decent. A bit on the commercial side, don't expect cozy, expect tile walled and floored cafe.

I bit of a maze to find the restaurant but once you do find it you'll go back a second & third time and so on! Good food at great prices .. and lots of champagne (optional of course).. . but it adds to the wow factor! The servers and service is equally very good. The only dislike I can... More

Before our sojourn in Italy four of us went to La Societe for a late lunch after shopping at the boutiques on Bloor. Sharing a bottle of champagne, with oysters, a charcuterie board, steamed mussels and a large serving of French bread. Food was very good and service was attentive- we were one of five tables in the restaurant.

first, it's a beautiful, large, bistro with a stained glass ceiling feature. It reminded me a bit of la Coupole in Paris. There's a large patio on the north side, but since you're on the 2nd floor, you're not facing traffic. We were there on a rainy weeknight. The place was busy, but not packed, and I found it a...
