Good quick service, nice food

We had a good quick lunch here on the Easter weekend; the restaurant is in central Toronto and popular with a well-dressed trendy crowd and their very well-dressed children. I had a vegetable quiche and my wife had the tuna tartare and we had a couple of coffees to finish up. Our servers were... read more

Had such an excellent experience here for my birthday dinner, and truly felt like I was in a little French bistro in Paris! The french music, lighting, decoration, tables/booths, all reminded me of a Parisian restaurant. The food was also impeccable! We started off with some glasses of bourdeux and rosé, and we did the prefix menu, my boyfriend and... More

I have just found my new favorite restaurant in Toronto. I have been meaning to eat here for quite some time and with some unexpected shopping on Bloor this afternoon drew me to this place for brunch to break the shopping spree spending. You must get the French cocktail, French 131; it's basically Proseco, Sweet Vermouth with a lemon twist;... More

Whether you are shopping, going to the museums or grabbing a quick bite before a concert, La Societe is a nice treat. Great atmosphere, excellent service and good food make it an easy "YES" when you are looking for some place to go. It is upstairs above street level looking out over Toronto's busiest shopping street in Yorkville. Enjoy!

Had a good Winterlicious dinner at this locale. The beef short rib was delicious although everything else was kind of average. Nice atmosphere and good enough service but nothing to rave about. Good value at Winterlicious prices.

I have visited this restaurant in the past. And liked it. However my experience yesterday at lunch was disgustingly disappointing. The maître'd was welcoming. But our waitress, never asked if we wanted a drink. We both were going to have a glass of wine. She never told us the specials still don't know. BUT in my burger was a fairly... More

My eggs were cold, smoked salmon tasteless, and hash browns greasy. Very disappointing food but the place was nice.

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto. We have been a few times for large group events usually birthdays or family get-togethers. The food is usually very good and the prices are reasonable. Our favorite is the steak frites. If you go on Thursday and sit at the bar oysters are one dollars each before 7 PM. They have... More

We went for a friend's birthday party and dined in the beautiful party room. It was like being transported to Paris. The décor of the restaurant is incredible. The staff was so welcoming, not rude even with a large party, they were efficient and nice. Will definitely go back again! Highlight was definetly dessert, the chocolate cake and crème brûlée!

My fiance had proposed to me earlier in the day and planned a surprise party at night where all my friends and family could join us in celebrating. We had a lot of people fly from in from California or drove in from a 2.5-3 hour commute, therefore it was important that we could treat them to a memorable meal/experience.... More
