Favourite Thai Restaurant

This place is by far the best thai restaurant in the whole GTA. The place is a little hole in the wall and you can easily miss it if you are not paying attention. My husband went to park and the server didn't allow me to sit while the restaurant is still pretty much empty. The reason being "they can only sit full parties to be fair." Tables have to be shared and server's attitude was bad when we requested to sit at a different table.Lots people come so they don't care about customers... More

Inconsistent experience. I do normally enjoy everything here but I do find the food to be hit or miss. The Vietnamese Iced tea with condensed milk was too sweet and leaves a very bitter aftertaste. I also ordered a mild pad seew - something I ordered many times before. Today, it was not mild but more like medium or hot... More

Amazing food! Have never been disappointed with anything we have tried here. Even though it's really busy they are great about calling you once your table's ready so you can go walk around. They've also really streamlined the take-out service so that's an awesome option for a quick dinner during the work week.

Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Pretty crowded. A good experience nonetheless. The food was great!

Solid Thai food in an uber trendy setting. Serving sizes not to generous and service is slow but that's as it's always packed.

No reservations are taken, but the outside waiting line was not long on a Sunday at 5:00 p.m., about 10 minutes. This is not a restaurant where you linger over your meal. We were seated at the bar and service was very fast and pleasantly delivered. I ordered the Three flavors Pad Thai with beef and my companion had a... More

I have been here several times because both my brother and best friend love it. But I don't get the hype. The food is tasty, but I don't like feeling rushed, cramped and I certainly don't like waiting in lines! Also, some of the dishes are almost the size of tapas! I rather go to PAI where the prices and... More

Hands down the best thai I have ever had. Although I have not been to Thailand, you can taste the authenticity. There's a great sense of community here, with the large, shared harvest tables and bar. Everyone around me was talking about their menu favourites, which has a great street food influence. I saw menu items I haven't seen in... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
