Didn't even make it though the doors of this place that apparently believes that it can insult people with their UNREALISTIC expectations about seating their clients. So this place has a policy that ALL PERSONS must be present when arriving. Fair enough, I can see people taking advantage of having one person going before everyone else in a group to... More

Visited several times since 2012. I always get the Khao Soi, which is my favourite thai dish. A savoury yellow curry with flat egg noodles. Meals are affordable and plenty. My wife, who is Thai, spoke Thai with the servers, and approves of the food here. That's saying something! I have gone several times since 2012, and there is always... More

I love restaurants like this. The food speaks for itself. There always seems to be a wait, and the decor, seating, ambiance and even presentation all take a backseat to some wickedly good thai food. Can't wait to go back!

This is not a place for long lingering meals, eating at a leisurely pace, not when there are at least fifteen people staring down at you waiting for a table. There are no reservation and half an hour wait is common. Space is limited, sharing seats is almost mandatory or there is always the bar. The food is good, not... More

I have gone to Khao San road when it was still all done under Chef Nuit i.e. since the day they opened. I have stood in line for over an hour, and yes, to this day there is a line, because i love their food. Today's experience made me think twice about returning. I send a LOT of my own... More

This place is a great little spot for some outstanding Thai Food. The place is open for lunch and dinner and fills up very quickly. The food is amazing and definitely worth going to try out. The restaurant is small so seating is limited. Make sure you check this place out and try the pad thai.

Khao San Road has a fun and eclectic vibe. With is shared table atmosphere, be sure to be open to close dining, but a fun atmosphere! The food is exceptional (I had so many shrimp in my dish!), my partners Masaman Curry was unbelievably delicious with great flavor, service was super quick and friendly, and we want to go back... In the spirit of accuracy, I will admit I was here for lunch, during the day, but I love that song and it’s a great line to start with. Being the birthday boy, I was curious to check out Khao San Road, the place I regularly see overflowing with patrons during my daily lunch time walks. At first sight, it’s... More

If you're in Toronto and in the mood for Thai, make your way to Khao San Road - easily one of the best spots in the City. Try the PadThai - you'll thank us!

With the departure of the original chefs that put this restaurant on the map the quality of food has taken a hit. Pad Thai took over half an hour to arrive.
