The service was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Food was also fantastic. We had a spinach and carrot soup to start, and went on from there.

We attended this years Taste of Iceland dinner event, held at Luma. The atmosphere and service were exceptional. The food was a sampling of Icelands finest treats from some of their top chefs (brought in for the event). The meal was paired with some great Ontario wines for a complete diner experience. Great service, food and location.

This is a fairly typical trendy big city eatery. Service was generally OK. The food was good. The octopus starter was excellent but there was much too little of it. The roast piglet was excellent, with crispy skin and moist meat....but this time there was so much I was not able to finish it. The wine list is not very... More

What a nice restaurant! We were coming into Toronto from out of town and were 45 minutes late for our reservation. We called the restaurant to let them know we were going to late and they were cheerful and accommodating. All the staff is amazing, providing a friendly and warm dining experience. The food is wonderful. If there is only... More

Luma was recommended by the front Desk Staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. We made a quick reservation., and then the fun began. Our server (Stephen) was very attentive and made us feel at home right away. The Chef came out of his shoes, from the Octopus to the smoked steelhead wow! Not only my meal but the 6ppl who... More

Luma is a fun restaurant with tasty food. The prices are steep, but the food is really nicely put together and the flavours are really enjoyable. Highlights include the lobster salad and the steak. They have a nice selection of wine by the glass. It's a busy and lively place and makes for a nice date night or a night... More

Went as two young couples to celebrate a friend's birthday. Place is very upscale with an artistic design. Review the menu before you go. Service was a bit slow to start, but overall good. Meals: The two ladies had steak and frites (fries were excellent, steaks were more rare than we asked for and we didn't get steak knives), one... More

This restaurant had a classy, but comfortable atmosphere. We were a group of 12 and the service was absolutely spectacular. Our server had great energy, was super helpful with excellent wine and dessert recommendations, and just a great comfortable rapport with everyone at our table. The food was very good - I had the Caesar salad and steak frites, and... More

Chose to have lunch at Luma for its proximity to the Princess of Wales theatre. For that reason, I was actually a bit leery since many restaurants rely on a fabulous location to hide a multitude of sins. But Luma seems to offer everything you could possibly want - excellent location, spacious but warm and energetic atmosphere, wonderful service and... More

It was a girls's getaway to Toronto. We were lucky to have spent the night at Luma, as it proved to be a memorable meal. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. The high level of service, coupled with the chef's talent, made for an amazing experience. The halibut, short ribs, piglet, scallops and lemon tart are worth... More
