My 2 friends and I bought the Groupon deal for the sushi making class, and it was so much fun! We went to the 6:30PM class on a Monday and it wasn't packed at all. They teach you how to make 2 different rolls and the chefs are very helpful, especially Daniel who was awesome! I wouldn't pay the actual... More

My daughter and I atttended a sushi making session last Saturday in the Wabora Restaurant. It was fun and informative. There are many steps in the proces to learn. The best part is of course you get to eat what you make. The classes fill up fast so you need to book this months ahead.

I have eaten at the Wabora's in Bracebridge a few times. These two restaurants are owned by Min Soo Kim, a great chef and fantastic host. In Toronto, our party of 4 middle aged professional men were greeted soon after our arrival by Min Soo's younger, but equally fantastic brother, Daniel. Daniel passed on family greeting's (Min Soo is out... More

I made a reservation at Wabora for 3 friends and myself. Turned out one of my friends is not big on sushi so we asked our waiter if the kitchen staff would mind putting chicken on a sushi pizza instead of salmon or tuna. He went back to ask, and said they wouldn't mind at all, but that there would... More

Not only have I frequented this restaurant, but I have also taken their Sushi making class - which is super fun. The instructors are the waiters and they are very knowledgeable. The food is incredible, if you like jalepenos the Over the Border Roll is a must!! So many options, be ready to eat because you will want to try... More

I had seen reviews for this place before and the comments were negative about the service. We ate here one night because it was in the hotel where we stayed. The food was great, but the service was terrible. Our waiter was indifferent as was the other staff.

After a disgusting and incorrect 4pm meal experience at the rooftop lounge at Thompson hotel (courtesy of the late night diner) took the wife to wabora attached to the hotel and had potentially some of the best and tastiest sushi we could remember. Worth every penny

I loved everything on the menu and i thought the food was fantastic, however the food is expensive. you pay a lot for what you get for. Nonetheless, I was extremely satisfied and I enjoyed it! good find!

Went for sushi classes and loved the food... Went there with friends later and the service was still impeccable and friendly.
