High Energy - Hopping Spot

Great vibe in this relatively new arrival. Steakhouse/Bistro style. Attentive service. Not at the same level as a Ruth's Chris, but not in the same $$ snack bracket either. Great for before theatre or the game. Easy walk to/from all the action.

Came to Houston's to celebrate my colleague's promotion and boy were we impressed. We LOVED the prix fixe lunch menu and the fish with cilantro rice was to die for! Service was on point, with the waitress checking up with our needs every so often. Will definitely be back for lunch as we all work in the financial district.

Being from New Yawk, I am used to the flash and tightly dressed hostesses with attitudes, but enough already, and this is not New York. Service was average at best, left alone for long periods, bus boys hardly spoke english. Food was just OK, more like chain restaurant fare.

We dinned here on March 11th. It was my daughters birthday and we chose Houston's for our dinner place. The food was amazing. This place is happening, it was packed by 6:30pm. We had a really nice table beside the fire place and the setting was perfect. Special shout out to Nathan who made the entire evening special, thanks! We... More

Good pub food, typical sports bar, female bar staff have to wear tight little low-cut black dresses, easy access to downtown events. I was pleased to see that their patrons have access to a gender-neutral washroom.

I LOVE the casual yet upscale decor & menu but the female staff were dressed far too provocatively! It cheapened the experience. I, along with my guests (including males) felt uncomfortable and sorry for the waitresses. Ged rid of the tiny low-cut black dresses in exchange for something classier! Until then, we will NEVER go back! It was so tacky,... More

I would like to start off by saying that this review is based off my first experience at this restaurant during Valentin's Day Dinner. The food was GREAT. Loved it. All of it. The Ribs were 10/10 and the fries were amazing!! The sauce for the calamari was also great! Better than anywhere else. The service left you feeling bad... More

First ever Winterlicous experience and it was definitly a hit in my books! The restaurant was super chic yet laid back. Customer service was great, attentive and quick. My friend and I were a little wary about portion and quality but our expectations were exceeded! I ordered the House Ceaser, Prime Rib entree and Creme Brulee, and my friend ordered... More

WE are very lucky to have chosen this restaurant for our meal after seeing a great play downtown. Winterlicious is an amazing deal and houstons didn't disappoint! Cappricio salad to start, incredible roast beef , done to perfection and chocolate lava cake for dessert! All for the ridiculously low price of $35.00 . Can't go wrong and our server Rachel... More

Passed by this resto many times so we decided to try it for the Winterlicious festival. Upon entry, it's what you would expect for a hipster 20-something bar-grill: modern decor, live DJ, long bar, and hotter than hell servers and bartenders. But what was surprising was how delicious the food was. Baby back ribs, carpaccio, prime rib, molten lava cake,... More
