I was visiting my daughter who lives in Toronto and while walking around Kensington she suggested we stop in at this place for a quick bite. Great suggestion. Tasty food. Friendly service.

This is a great spot in Terminal 3 of Toronto Pearson Airport. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I loved the Cabbage Borscht Soup and the Roasted Veggies and Brie. All members of our group of four were happy with their choices.

Enjoyed our Caplansky's sandwiches, fries and latkes at their Pearson location. Service was fast and friendly, food served piping hot and quickly. Prices were reasonable, especially for the airport.

To my friends in Toronto that keep comparing Caplansky's to Schwartz's: Sorry but it's not even close. I've tried the Smoked meat sandwich and the poutine. First the sandwich: The rye bread was flavourless and the meat was dry, too salty and too smoky. I then understood why they had so many choices of flavoured mustard, to make up for... More

We visited Caplanski's at the airport. Pretty cool set up. I was looking forward to the meal and gave up after about 30min. We sat with menus while servers visited the tables on each side of us. The food looked amazing and smelled great. I like family oriented businesses. We just didn't get a chance to eat. Maybe next time.

This restaurant looks like a dive both on the outside and on the inside. It really is in bad need of an update. This will be OK if the food was good. Unfortunately it is not. The Matzo Ball soup was completely bland with The Matzo Balls tasting like cardboard. Generous heaping of salt and pepper could not improve the... More

We (4) had a Caplansky Platter, Reubenesque sandwich, and a regular corned beef sandwich, plus some latkes, a soup and some slaw. We are big eaters and still walked away with enough food for two of us to have a light supper, then corned beef in our omelets the next morning. The platter was worth the trip -- tongue, goat... Zane and his staff make you feel warm and welcome as soon as you walk in the door. I am a follower of the DELI LAMA and this place has AWESOME smoked meat and I am a huge fan of the chopped liver with the onions cooked in schmaltz. IT WAS WORTH THE 3 1/2 HOUR DRIVE FROM LAKE HURON

Great venue and even better service. Perhaps I gave this resteraunt a 3 star as friends had told us how great it was and we felt a bit let down at the quality of our meal. That's the trouble with recommendations. One persons expectations are so varied from another. Caplansky's really does had a super venue and staff. I think... More
