A new food group is found!

While on a business trip in Toronto, I stopped in to eat at Caplansky's Deli. I had seen it on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and had to try Jewish Deli in Canada. As a life long New Yorker, I've eaten at Katz's, 2nd Avenue Deli, Yonah Shinmmels, etc. so I was suspect. Well, they have discovered a new... read more

Having eaten in great delis in New York City and Montreal, this restaurant was a complete disappointment. The matzo ball soup was completely tasteless. Additionally, the portions were VERY small and overpriced. This is not a real deli: all for show, absolutely lacking in quality.

Gave Caplansky's at Terminal 3 a try en route to our March Break destination. It was so worth it! Waited a while in line, but totally loved the smoked salmon on a bagel. Almost as good as his downtown location, and certainly the best the airport has to offer. Real food, good coffee and a solid reputation. Next time I... More

Went there last week for dinner. Though it was a bit chilly we sat outside in the patio area. It wasn't very busy that day but I didn't complain. The front of house and wait staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had the burger with both smoked meat and beef and it was mouth watering. The fries were also... More

Food was marginal. I have a burger about once a year and thought a true deli would serve up something special so ordered it. Was very expensive for what I got...burger and fries...but was willing to pay (understanding that it's in an airport). Fries and burger both came out overdone and cold. Bun was dry. Expected much better. Server did... More

Hi we've had several pre flight meals and drinks at this location. The service and food are good. I find the prices a little steep. We haven't eaten at their other location so we can't say whether or not they are a bit exaggerated do to the location. Being in the airport it's a necessary evil if you want a... More

Ate here while waiting for a delayed flight. Had the hot corned beef sandwich $9.95. Freshly sliced and served on fresh rye bread, dill pickles and Caplansky's own hot mustard. Good for airport food. I would certainly recommend it.

Visited here for a very early breakfast before our flight. Service was good. I had the hash with choice of eggs. My first experience and I would go back and try something off the dinner or lunch menu.
