Don't judge a book by its cover is the perfect idiom to describe this hidden gem. New Orleans Seafood & Steakhouse Restaurant is located in a western suburb of Toronto called Etobicoke. From the outside the small family owned and operated eatery looks ordinary, but once inside you immediately feel the warm and cozy atmosphere as the owner personally greets... More

We enjoy a great meal at New Orleans every time we come to Toronto. Mike and his staff are truly the best!

Food was exceptionally cooked, beautifully plated and served magnificently. NOS&S is a little strip mall joint that outshines all restaurants in Toronto. Don't miss the best meal in Toronto.

My husband and I usually fine here at least once a month. This evenings meal was the best ever! Maybe it's me but each meal that we enjoy here just seems to be getting better and better! Thank you!

We have been going here for about 7 years but never thought of reviewing the place. Now it's time! The food is excellent, the wines are are reasonably priced and the owner has a great personality. If you like "New Orleans" (ie: spicy) food you'll love this place. The downside is that it's in Etobicoke, on Scarlett Road, and if... More

OK, it is time to break out the superlatives. Words such as incredible, fantastic, unique, amazing, sumptuous, and dazzling come to mind when try to describe this restaurant. (And I'm sorry to disagree with another reviewer here, but if you didn't enjoy this restaurant, you are simply incapable of enjoying amazing food.) We arrived for our meal here after a... More

What a great way to start our first visit to Toronto! Our waiter was attentive and friendly, the owner was so proud, and rightly so! From the mussels to the seafood platter and shrimp, our meal was wonderful! Awesome bread (we are from Georgia, and the bread is sad!), small but nice wine list, and delicious food! New Orleans, LA... More

I discovered this place thanks to Trip Advisor and it's #2 rating out of all Toronto restaurants which is hard to believe. This place is very small, located in a very obscure part of the city, and is privately owned by a married couple. The wife cooks in the kitchen and the husband serves. It met all my expectations and... More

Tiny little restaurant with amazing food and amazing service! The owner was so friendly and accomodating. I had the scallop entree and it was to die for! We will definitely be back.
