We stopped in after shopping and before a concert on Valentine's day. The waiter was very friendly and so was the other guy who brought the drink my sister requested from the bar, that they had never heard of but quite willingly made. Tara has the fajita as always and it didn't have enough sauce on the chicken. I tried... More

We stumbled into this location after a LONG walk at the Toronto Car Show. It was early in the afternoon (late for lunch), and figured to try this spot out. Upstairs with all of the screens was VERY busy because of the Canadian Olympic hockey team playing, but downstairs was a bit more sanguine. We sidled up to the bar,... More

I loved this place: the staff is kind and the food is very good. The prices are normal, with 20 bucks you have a good meal and a beer. The menu is rich: foods for every taste, from salads to hamburgers. The beer is very good.

Our first experience of a Toronto restaurant, I'm afraid the food was just not up to an acceptable standard. Starters whilst tasted nice, served just luke warm, although of course should have been hot, sent back to kitchen, replacement not much better, mains arrived before we had finished - these to were served cold (burger & chicken dishes) again sent... It is a lively restaurant belonging to a chain. Quality of the dishes we took was rather poor. Service was very slow. Not good value for money.

We enjoy TGI FRiday's and I think the food here was much better. Service a little slow which was surprising as they were very quiet, however food was fresh and well presented and tasty, we would have gone back had we been staying another night

Saturday night in Toronto, we stopped in on our way to Second City. They gave us the option of in or out so we sat on the back patio. Everyone enjoyed their meals and he service was excellent. Upon request, they lit up the propane heaters as it did cool down after the sun was blocked out by the surrounding... More

We stopped in for lunch on the patio on May 4th. Service was incredibly slow. Other patrons left before drink orders arrived. We had to wait for drink orders, food orders, condiments, silverware and the bill. Food was okay.....turkey club was good. Guacamole was terrible. Will not come back to this Jack's.

A group of ten friends meet for lunch at Jack Astor's on Progress Ave. Scarborough Ontario once a month and have been doing so for three years. Today, because of their mistake with our reservation, we were all provided with lunch free of charge. This was much appreciated, although not surprising in view of the fact that the service has...
