This food was amazing. Freshly made noodles, great broth. The fresh fish was to die for and the service was excellent.

The only way to describe Guu is it is a dinning experience. The food was great, the service excellent and the atmosphere unique but when you put them all together it just works, I cannot recommend it enough. The only reason I have not given it a 5th star is I am a bit taller than average and the benches... More

The concept is so different from many Japanese restaurants. They serve tapa style foods that are fun, innovative and delicious. The atmosphere sometimes isn't best to have a conversation, but it is fun!

Excellent food. Ordered the sampling menu (10 different plates to try). It was excellent. The atmosphere was great, very lively and noisy. Very good service. Reservation strongly recommended.

We had read great things about this place so were really excited to try it, we call at 3pm on the day to make a reservation for 8pm that evening to be told no reservation was needed at that time. We showed up at 7.55pm to see that therewere people waiting outside in the -5 temps (all the people waiting... More

We ate here as a group of 6, we ordered the party/group meal for 4 and then a bunch of other things off the menu. Everything was great, and it was a very fun atmosphere with the staff all greeting every person as they open the door. Every one of the tapas style dishes was great!

The outside of the restaurant is very unassuming. I've driven by it many times and never realized that this is where the restaurant is. Once you're inside, it is very reminiscent of restaurants I've been to in Japan. The staff greet everyone that walks in. The host/hostess says "welcome" (well, more like yells it out) and the rest of the... More

Entering Guu I was surprised by the greetings and the loud fun atmosphere. You get transformed to another place as you enter from the door. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely come back.

Consistently great food, great service and a loud and happening atmosphere. Been there a few times for dinner for two and for a group birthday party. Lots of great tasty dishes to share. Check out the baked oysters and the deep fried brie! To die for!!! The place is always busy, always loud, and customers are welcomed by the entire... More

We went there for my birthday party with my friends. The place is very different from other restaurants and sushi places. Food is really good, alcohol is ok, but in cocktails there was almost no alcohol, although bamboo sake was really good. Staff is even more than friendly. Food is delicious. The only thing you should be aware about is... More
