We had a group dinner here last weekend, and the experience was...unique. So the premise of the restaurant, I guess, is to emulate the izakaya style of establishment found in Japan where people go to drink and nibble on food on the side. As one of our friends explained from his experience living in Japan, the servers will say a... More

We really enjoyed our first experience at this restaurant. Fun that they greet each patron coming and going! The sashimi special was good. The udon as well. We enjoyed trying each dish. Seems the patio is a better pick for more quiet... Pretty much we loved everything. Well..We could have skipped the green tea ice cream though - dessert not... More

We tried this great place on a Friday evening and really had a fun time. As others have said here, this is a loud and crazy place. You have to be in the right mood for it or it could be a bit much. We arrived at a good hour - about 6:30 pm - and quickly got three seats... More

If you don't mind the noise and the constant screaming, this is one heck of a place. My wife and I showed up late night, sat at the bar, ordered several small dishes and had a blast. Its not your traditional quiet romantic date night place. this is one for groups, happy hour, and just late night wake me up... More

Some people complaint about the atmosphere (loud welcoming), they don't know about Japanese culture. This is exactly the place should have. If you want really fine Japenese dining then go to Nobu or Zuma. I sit at the bar and the service is brillant. Food is good and reasonable size comparing to the price. I would definitely come back and... More

Great place, not the Japanese restaurant you are used to. Not the regular rolls, sushi an sashimi you can find anywhere. These is a great place for those who think Japanese food is all about raw fish, has a lot more than that. Prices were very affordable and the atmosphere is contagious, loud music, loud servers. Just nuts. The best... More

What a cool and fun place. We really enjoyed our evening. Service was great. Only wish the food was a little better. Some dishes were really good, Udon bowls and BBQ pork, but not memorable. A couple of dishes were disappointing. Sweet Shrimp Sashimi had a great initial flavor but ended with a slime that coated my mouth. Yellowtail sashimi... More

When you enter you think that you'are in Japan. The staff is japanese. The food is delicious and typical from japan. The restaurant respect the japanese traditions and the japanese cuisine. Awesome place.
