I had cheddar cheese burger with crispy home-made fries. Watched the ball of ground beef placed on the skillet and then flattened and spiced! My wife had the fried chicken dinner. Spectacular! Fries came with hers so I didn't mine! Only limited seating but definitely worth the wait!

I've been a longtime customer of the Stockyards. After trying BBQ around Toronto I can say that this is one of the best BBQ restaurants in the city. The restaurant is quite small so expect there to be a wait for a seat. The restaurant is counter service and some of the seats overlook the prep area. I'd recommend eating... More

Their dishes are only rivaled by their service. Although there is limited seating, we were treated so great, we did not mind waiting. Once seated, we sat at the counter and enjoyed our meals. They were even able to memorize some of our names!

Ordered the ribs which were outstanding. Although I ordered the roast chicken, I should have ordered the fried chicken. I was trying to be healthy and the roast chicken has alot of white meat (I like dark moist meat). The only negative was that the fries were cold. My daughter had a burger and she claims it was 'the best'.... More

I'm a meatatarian. I've been working my way around Toronto's burger scene for a big and the SS&L was exactly what I enjoy finding...Space is tight so best avoid the 12-1 pm rush but it's so worth it, even if you have to wait. I had the Beast and my wife had the The Green Chili Pimento Cheeseburger...wow, both blew... More

Soft scrambled eggs, home smoked sausage, fried potatoes and biscuit with delicious coffee. Limited seating but we walked right in at 10 AM on Saturday. Kitchen team works well together.

The food here is absolutely spectacular. If you're in the mood for some quality meat, this is the place to go. The prices aren't overly cheap, but they're reasonable, as the food's great and the portions are pretty large. The only issue is that the place is small and always packed. There's very limited seating, and most of it is... More

I was introduced to this place for breakfast and I am a believer. I never watched DDD and didn't even know it was on TV. I can see why now. I had the Breakfast Burgers with Sausage gravy, the Chicken & Waffles and Biscuit with Citrus Butter all in one sitting. Clearly the best I've had. I love service and... More

For BBQ, you couldn't do much better. Although seating is limited, it was worth the wait. My only complaint is that I couldn't eat more. The ribs, chicken, pork BBQ sandwich, and brisket were all amazing. One suggestion would be to try to ginger tea if they have it...
