I ate here for the first time yesterday and thought the food was very good! I had the classic burger and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. We also shared a limeade (which we were told also had mint - it was more of a lemonade with a dash of lime and mint - not very limey at all... More

I went to this and got a to go order. The restaurant is too small to sit in. Don't bring a stroller. It won't go in. Service was good. The order took 20 mins. I ordered the fried Chicken. I also ordered the butter burger, the beef brisket sandwich, and the smoke half chicken. To fry chicken was okay. Nothing... More

I drive in from Oakville for my Stockyards fix!!! The fried chicken is beyond amazing. I only wish they had a real dining room to sit and eat. Perhaps take over the store next door, knock down the wall and boom! Not so bad in the summer as the sidewalk is just fine. Regardless I will keep making the drive... More

Where to start with this fantastic restaurant? How about with the best biscuits I've ever eaten? Then we can go on to the fried chicken that is to die for, and the ribs, butter burger and cole slaw that we couldn't get enough of? We were recently in Toronto for a conference (traveling from Minnesota) and ate here three times... More

We just had a great meal at The Stockyards last night. I've been before but I introduced two locals to their tasty BBQ and fried chicken. The chicken dinner is huge with so many fries! Its greasy, but its also fried chicken. A great splurge. My friends said the beef brisket sandwich was also very tasty. Unfortunately they were out... More

Wow this place is amazing! The line is long and getting take out is a lot easier but have gotten take out and dined in before. The fried chicken, fries and biscuit was amazing. The hot sauce they serve with it is amazing as well. They also have ribs and other roasted items but those run out fast and were... More

WOW!!! What an amazing experience. Amazing service and great servers. I had the fried chicken (which I highly recommend) and it was crispy on the outside tender on the inside perfect chicken. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. The atmosphere is a bit loud but all around a cool place to sit in. Portions were massive. You get half... More

It took me more than 45 mins. before I got my take-out. To my big disappointment, I found HAIR in my chicken. The taste was bland. I won't recommend this to my relatives & friends, and anyone visiting. How they got ranked as best chicken in the city is a LIE!

Lived in TO for a year & live down the road from this place. The fried chicken is delicious. The only fault is the size of the restaurant is a bit small & cramped. The food is fresh & delicious.

Went there on a Sunday evening. Ordered a whole rack of ribs & whole chicken for take out. Being that the chicken and ribs are already cooked, the wait was 8-12 minutes maybe? It was busy but everyone working was well organized. The ribs, unreal. My brother and I figured we could share the rack and the chicken (having chicken... More
