Great gourmet pub experience with an excellent variety of beers both tap and otherwise. Our group of 4 ordered several dishes both to share and as mains. All were delicious and extremely fresh. Definitely recommend it for weekend brunch.

Harbord House is charming with a porche and also a second floor extra bar. Harbord street is away from the main traffic and many other charming restaurants make a great entertainment atmosphere. The calamares are excellent combined with a blonde draft beer.

My husband, a friend and I popped in here before we hit up a Fringe show across in the University campus area. This is a great location - just off Spadina, you can catch the Spadina street car, or its a quick walk to the Subway on Bloor. If you are not in the mood for Asian or higher end... More

I had my first bagel here in 1970, after 25 years of wonder bread (as in, wonder if it's bread). The Jewish population which once supported a range of unique food shops had started moving north after the 1950s, and the stores catering to an older wave of Jewish immigrants were vanishing one at a time. But the Harbord Bakery... More

My boyfriend and I had the chicken wing appetizers, haddock and chips and the burger. Overall, everything was really dry (fries tasted as if they were refried after cooled) and tasted just so-so. Portions are big so you're paying more for quantity than quality. Averaged around $16 - 18 for the entrees we ordered and $10 for appetizer. Service was... More

We ate lunch and the experience was wonderful. Fresh ,delicious food that was served by a friendly , conscientious waiter Ina charming atmosphere. I had the club sandwich on challah and the fresh mixed salad- great choice. Others at the table enjoyed their choices too. Great street to walk along too!

This is the second time I've confused these two establishments on Harbord Street. At least I know the Harbord Bakery yum, too)from these two. They are both very different but both are very good. Explaining our predicament ( that we thought we had reserved at Harbord ROOM), the kindly hostess gives us 15 minutes to check whether the other restaurant... More

We were visiting from NYC for the weekend. A friend from Toronto brought us here for brunch before a tour of Yorkville. Our waitress was friendly + helpful. All the food was excellent: a smoked salmon benedict, a special omelette and a Canadian breakfast. Topped off with a half-carafe of rose' from Ontario, it was a terrific meal. Prices are... More

We decided to stop here mainly because it is a 'bookcrossing zone' where you can drop off books and take books for free. We planned on only having a pint and continuing on our way but decided to have something to eat. We had crab cakes to start ($9 for two) which were delicious! I had a Cobb salad-huge and... More
