DELICIOUS!!!!!!

The breakfast poutine was AMAZING! YUM!!! Great flavors. But I would request a second egg next time. My husband really enjoyed the unique iced tea and meal! Close to HHOF. Wish I could go back again on a weekend to try the other breakfast items. Would recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!!!

Based on TA reviews, we went to Hank's for lunch. We were the only tourists in the place, and enjoyed a terrific lunch. The prices, as noted in other reviews, were a great value and the food was fantastic. We had the Hanks benny, a braekfast sandwich, and a fruit cocktail, all of which were good-tasting.

We went to Hanks for breakfast based on good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Hanks opens at 8am and we got there just after 8:30, plenty of tables available and we could pick anywhere we liked to sit so we took the window seat. Coffee was good, I had 2 lattes. I also had poached eggs with bacon & avocado,... More

By far one of the best breakfasts we had in Toronto. Friendly staff, food is delicious and coffee Yummy. Located two blocks from St Lawrence Market or Novatel Hotel. Definitely recommend.

If humming along to 80's music and digging into a spectacular omelette sounds like a great way to start your day then Hank's will never disappoint you. Great location in the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood, proximate to anything you might need. An eclectic mix of young and old, locals and tourists. I have loved Hank's since it opened and will... Hanks on Church street absolutely delicious. Lunch was a turkey club on 7 grains toasted with a wonderful greens side salad. Cost around 13$ but well worth it and filling. Great place to sit down or take to go...

Excellent food very friendly staff. Busy busy busy but it did not take long to get a table. Coffee was very good. Overall experience here as excellent will definitely come again once all other great brunch places in Toronto are tested out. Haha

Great pre market breakfast place. We had quick service. It's a nice little place. Wasn't too busy. We'd recommend this to anyone.

We tried Hanks as it was just around the corner from our hotel and had great reviews. The service was good, and the place was clean. The breakfast was just average unfortunately. The potatoes were undercooked and quite hard which was a bit off putting. Being honest, we probably wouldn't return.

Whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee break, Hank's is by far one of the best places in town. Wonderful staff, warm atmosphere, and a truly "neighbourhood feel".

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
