High Quality at reasonable prices within walking distance of Novotel Hotel.

Quiet, relaxing place for breakfast. Servers were great. My husband and I had omelettes and coffee. They offer a different omelette of the day and ours were fresh with vegetables and ham. We are picky about our coffees and like them strong, which they were. Reasonably priced, near our hotel.

I love egg benidict, and it is the first time I have tried egg benidict with avocado instead of meat. The dish is named after the restaurant, so I think it is their signature dish and I am not disappointed. It tastes very fresh, the hollandaise sauce, the eggs and the avocado blends together so perfectly. If you like egg... More

First breakfast in Toronto and was not disappointed, all freshly prepared and very tasty. The dish with cheesy scrambled egg, loin bacon and fries set me up for the day. My wife had the home made granola with fruit and yoghurt and really enjoyed it. Well worth a visit.

We really liked the breakfast. Even though it was a little loud because of all the people, we felt really comfortable.

Wonderful burger. Definitely would recommend for lunch. Their prices are reasonable also. This 100 character limit is very annoying.

The breakfast poutine was AMAZING! YUM!!! Great flavors. But I would request a second egg next time. My husband really enjoyed the unique iced tea and meal! Close to HHOF. Wish I could go back again on a weekend to try the other breakfast items. Would recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!!!

Based on TA reviews, we went to Hank's for lunch. We were the only tourists in the place, and enjoyed a terrific lunch. The prices, as noted in other reviews, were a great value and the food was fantastic. We had the Hanks benny, a braekfast sandwich, and a fruit cocktail, all of which were good-tasting.

We went to Hanks for breakfast based on good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Hanks opens at 8am and we got there just after 8:30, plenty of tables available and we could pick anywhere we liked to sit so we took the window seat. Coffee was good, I had 2 lattes. I also had poached eggs with bacon & avocado,... More

By far one of the best breakfasts we had in Toronto. Friendly staff, food is delicious and coffee Yummy. Located two blocks from St Lawrence Market or Novatel Hotel. Definitely recommend.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
