Great breakfast destination!

I had the Huevos Rancheros and it was superb. Freshly squeezed juice on offer. Quick, courteous service. Clean cozy atmosphere. I'll be back. Cheers!

My husband and I went on a Sunday for brunch. We looked at the reviews prior to going and had expected the line up. Lucky us... found a parking spot just a few steps away from the restaurant. 2 tables ahead of us and we got seated in less than 10 minutes (quite a few tables were about to leave).... More

This is absolutely one of my favourite restaurants for brunch! The food is great and fresh. The staff are attentive. As someone who doesn't eat eggs, there are many alternatives. The salads are amazing but one of my favourite meals is the tofu scramble, served with a salad, avocado, and toast - you won't be disappointed. The only downsides are... More

People line up to eat here always. The hours are limited. They close around 4 pm so check first. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the vibe is cool, it's got good attitude. Families, singles, hipsters, locals. It's all here.

Lady Marmalade is a cute vintage style cafe with a creative and tasty edge on breakfast classics. Everything was delicious from the cappuccino to the spinach and cheese waffles. We could have eaten twice! Great friendly service too!

Today my son and I stopped in to Lady Marmalade, after hearing great reviews and seeing the line ups on the weekend. WORTH the effort? It was still busy, even though it was 11:30 a.m. and the service was excellent. The eggs Bennie was awesome and my son had the poached eggs with crispy bacon. Excellent latte, also. Worth the... If you're looking for somewhere to bring your date I would recommend this spot! Cute little restaurant with awesome old school music in the background followed by a simple classic menu and lovely beers to choose from!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to live near this gem for several years. That allowed us to be selective in terms of timing so we could avoid the lines which are epic. Hands down the best brunch place I've ever been to. Try the mango bacon Bennie and you'll be ruined for Bennies for ever. We moved from... More

We caught a street car to get here as it's a little off the beaten path. We got lucky and got a table straight away but we did see a large number of people queuing as we left so arrive early! The clientele is a little rough and ready! But the food is very good and the hollandaise sauce on... More

Excellent ALL AROUND! Had the eggs Benny with Avocado, Brie and Bacon. Perfectly poached egg and Hollandaise sauce crazy amazing. I'm not to keen on potato sides but Lady Marmalade's are delicious, crisp with a hint of heat. The entire plate was flavourful. This place was so great, I returned 3 says later and had the same thing! Lined up... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
