After seeing all the positive reviews here, I wanted to check this place out. Well, not really, but my brother did, so we went. Monday morning, packed. Cash only, not great. Usually cash only means better prices, but not here. For just under $30 had we each had the hash browns with two eggs. In a fancy restaurant I could... More

Seeing weekend after weekend line up around the block at this brunch place got me curious. So off I go to join long line up!!Where some people munch on snacks and drinking coffees from near by shops while patiently stand in never ending line up. If you come in pair your chances of getting table are faster. Lucky us! We... More

The restaurant was almost full even at 8 o'clock on Saturday morning. We ordered 2 organic buckwheat fresh fruit crepes and 1 of the most expensive eggs bennies. Crepe had a lot of fruits including half-ripe watermelon and over-dried granola. It was a bad combination - tasteless and really hard to chew. I didn't like my crepe, and neither did... More

If you're coming for brunch, do yourself a favour and set your alarm clock to make sure you get there early enough to avoid the line! Being a pair makes it easier to get a table faster too, as opposed to groups of +3. Yummy delights await!

This restaurant serves one of the best brunches that I've had in Toronto. I've gone a few times and never been disappointed! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This place is a winner for sure.

We stopped in for some brunch just before the line started. I had the pesto eggs benedict which were very good. The cajun home fries were terrible though, very stale, as if they cook a large batch early and then reheat to order. Not cool. The eggs also came with salad or tomatoes. I chose the salad which came had... More

A great breakfast place. We went there on a Monday as the line it just too long in the weekends. The food is fresh and presented in a lovely way. The staff is helpful and well organized. I can recommend it :)

Lady Marmalade's menu is almost like a trip around the world with eggs served with a French, Mexican, Moroccan or Italian flare. As I watched other people's orders pass me by, I found it truly difficult to decide, it all looked so goo. In the end I chose Crepe Croque Monsieur and was not disappointed. I couldn't even finish all... More

Always and consistently delicious but the wait and cash as only payment made this place lose a star for me! So good though!

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
