Atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent and the food was so good that we may do it again tomorrow. Three different chicken dishes were all wonderfully spiced and unique. Naan was fresh and perfect. The only thing I could complain about is that the menu shown on TA here wasn't accurate.

Ten of us visited this restaurant for a dinner, without a reservation. We were lucky to be seated immediately. Since the restaurant is small, it is a good idea to have a reservation. We ordered different Indian dishes, all of these were great. We probably ordered too much, as the portion size were large. We are used to smaller portion... More

Nice decor, good service, yummy food. The naan is fresh baked to order and simply amazing. You can see into the kitchen and watch the food being made, quite enjoyable.

My boyfriend and I went in for a late dinner. We were seated in a nice round booth. The lights were perfectly dimmed, so we had the most romantic dinner. The shrimps were delicious and the naan so fresh. It was a little pricey, but I would definitely go back.

My husband and I went to celebrate his promotion at his office. We had to wait a bit to be seated as there was nobody at the reception. Ambience is great and staff is friendly. Food quantity and quality both are awesome. Had a good time and would like to visit again.

Portions are large enough and food is average. Very nice inside. You are suppose to get a discount if you are staying at the hotel next door but they missed that. They do offer take out but call ahead. It's fine.

This nice establishment next door to the Residence Inn on Wellington serves good Indian fare offering a menu with old favorites along with less common dishes. The food is pretty tasty, the service is polite and the atmosphere is enjoyable. The prices are not cheap but are nonetheless not out of line. We had a business partner in town and... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
