Fantastic Sunday Dinner

Wonderful dinner here last night! Best roast beef & Yorkshire puddings I've had in years, beautifully executed. Add to this, attentive service from staff, a lovely dining room, and a nice wine list. There are many bars and restaurants in Toronto that attempt the English 'pub' experience, which... read more

There are many bars and restaurants in Toronto that attempt the English 'pub' experience, which largely fall short. The Queen & Beaver, however gets it right. Highly... More

Truly an outstanding experience! Last night in Toronto and wanted a warm pub atmosphere and the Q&B delivered. Started with a local stout - Durham Brewery - which was very nice. Had the Cock a Leekie soup which was smokey with chicken chunks and really warmed me up considering it was -11 degrees outside. For the main course I had... More

I went here the other day after work to meet my mom for some drinks and dinner. The place itself is very cute- its off of Yonge on a side street and the pub is in a house. I sat on the first floor and my mom and I ordered some wine and I had a pint. For dinner we... More

A fun, slightly upscale pub. The food is usually very good. On a recent visit, the vindaloo curry was outstanding, but the scotch eggs and the pork rinds were cold and very greasy. The service was good and I will eat here again, but will choose different appetizers for the table.

With cuisine like this, the British would have kept their empire another hundred years! This high-end pub, nestled between Yonge and Bay streets near the Eaton Centre, was full of enthusiastic young professionals on the Thursday evening we were there for dinner. Head chef Andrew Berry-Ashpole's dinner menu features ham hock and walnut terrine, a knockout chanterelle starter, delightful fish... More

A friend and I came here after finding the Queen & Beaver on a list of brunch places. We were seated on the 2nd floor which was well suited for watching the football match. We ordered the traditional english breakfast and was blown away. We loved the baked beans with mushrooms and this was our first time having black pudding/blood... More

A great place to dine if you love superb English Pub type food. The prices match the quality of the food. The wait times are slightly longer than most mainstream restaurants because of the food prep. Beer selection is fantastic with 8-10 imported beers on tap.

This is a nice place but I wouldn't recommend taking a picky eater here. The menu is limited and it is very much traditional English food, which isn't everyone's cup of tea. I also find it a tad overpriced. They have a good back room we can reserve if you've got a large group.

The Queen and Beaver is one of the few if not only traditional English pubs in Toronto. The food is definitely on par with pubs you'll find in England. The pies are my personal favourite. As the title suggests prices are a bit high. A burger or fish and chips will cost you $18, most of the other mains are... More

The place is nice, no doubt. The service was good. The food could be much better though. I had a burger with fries (a friend ordered for me before I arrived) and what a disappointment! The was nothing green on that plate except for the pickle. No other vegetables other than the fried potatoes. No lettuce, no tomatoes, no onions.... More
