The Queen and Beaver Public House is a Toronto institution featuring a main level dining room and classy bar, along with an upstairs bar area that also serves food but caters more to a bar crowd who showed up without reservations. My best guess is that the building hosing the Q and B is an old... read more

Original dishes that are very tasty. Warm pub upscale atmosphere. The service could not have been better. This place is a real gem. You just do not want to leave!

My daughter and enjoyed dinner here on a Sunday night. I ordered the roast beef and yorkie. It was excellent. My daughter had the fish & chips and enjoyed them immensely. We had sticky toffe pudding for dessert. Service was excellent. The price is a little high (roast beef $26) but it was well worth it. I would recommend it... More

This was our second visit here and it didn't disappoint. The Steak and Stilton pudding was amazingly flavourful as was the Traditional fish and chips. Don't miss this place!

My wife and I came across this place on the internet, we were both very pleased with the service and the food. The food is the real deal English style food, my wife is British and knows her British food and she gave this place an A+. It has a very nice old fashioned atmosphere that is warm and inviting.... Wonderful dinner here last night! Best roast beef & Yorkshire puddings I've had in years, beautifully executed. Add to this, attentive service from staff, a lovely dining room, and a nice wine list. There are many bars and restaurants in Toronto that attempt the English 'pub' experience, which largely fall short. The Queen & Beaver, however gets it right. Highly... More

Truly an outstanding experience! Last night in Toronto and wanted a warm pub atmosphere and the Q&B delivered. Started with a local stout - Durham Brewery - which was very nice. Had the Cock a Leekie soup which was smokey with chicken chunks and really warmed me up considering it was -11 degrees outside. For the main course I had... More

I went here the other day after work to meet my mom for some drinks and dinner. The place itself is very cute- its off of Yonge on a side street and the pub is in a house. I sat on the first floor and my mom and I ordered some wine and I had a pint. For dinner we... More

A fun, slightly upscale pub. The food is usually very good. On a recent visit, the vindaloo curry was outstanding, but the scotch eggs and the pork rinds were cold and very greasy. The service was good and I will eat here again, but will choose different appetizers for the table.

With cuisine like this, the British would have kept their empire another hundred years! This high-end pub, nestled between Yonge and Bay streets near the Eaton Centre, was full of enthusiastic young professionals on the Thursday evening we were there for dinner. Head chef Andrew Berry-Ashpole's dinner menu features ham hock and walnut terrine, a knockout chanterelle starter, delightful fish... More
