Just a wonderful spot. More upscale than your typical British pub the decor is almost elegant and the food is spectacular. My wife and I stopped by for dinner and started with cocktales in the bar upstairs. It was busy with an after-work crowd. But we still found a table and a server brought our drinks quickly. We tried their... More

Cute, cozy interior and delicious English pub food! I had the fish and chips and oh man, it was soooo good! There was an upstairs which I regret not sitting in, but looked cool! The lower level was more quieter/"fancier" and the upstairs seemed much more casual; perfect for a few pints and to watch the game. Would recommend! :)

Had dinner here with my wife and she raved about the fish and chips whilst/while I tried the curried duck dish - which was delicious. I paired the food with a black 'champagne' beer from Quebec which was very good too. Service was efficient boy not overly friendly. Ambiance was good ( a converted late 19th century townhouse - the... More

Sunday dinner on Elm. Cozy atmosphere. Good service. The toasts to start are the best thing on the menu we shared the cheese, honey and walnuts as well as the smoked salmon on pumpernickel. Excellent smoked salmon and the cheeses with walnuts was very tasty. I had the Sunday roast beef with roots veggies and Yorkshire pudding. The beef was... More

We were new in the area. Not familiar with this kind of food, served at the restaurant. Expected to get more patience and warmer hospitality from the waiter, but had not got it. Food probably delicious to whom who are familiar with..... Not for me......

We really enjoyed the menu and had great service for an early Thursday evening meal. Good prices and lots of different choice for a traveller who might be wary of eating out. Reasonably priced. Worth checking it out. for the ambiance.

Great ambiance (in an old house) with a restaurant downstairs and pub upstairs. Menu is one of the most interesting and diverse you'll find. Has really unusual, exciting, and adventuresome dishes as well as great beers on tap. Always a fantastic experience!

While we have not had a full meal here, we have often stopped for a drink and snacks after a business meeting in Toronto. There always seems to be seats available and the small outdoor patio on the 3rd floor is great. There is a good beer selection, along with everything else that one might look for. Prices are reasonable,... More

So if you are an Ex Pat in Toronto you will know there are some things that you just long for tom the Motherland. Well for me it is having a full English Breakfast with Black Pudding! This was our main reason for trying the Queen & Beaver Pub on Elm Street! We noticed on the website that they did... More

Had brunch in this nice British restaurant this past weekend. We were the first customers on the main floor. It was quiet at first but a few more customers came in soon after us. They have music on at medium volume level. The upper section has TV's with English football soccer. The brunch menu looks good. Had the traditional full... More
