A real pub, friendly service, a vast choice of beers, but mostly the best hamburger I ever had and those fries, mmm, just delicious.

As an Englishman in Toronto it was a great place to mix the old school English pub feeling that I miss from the UK, with American sport and Canadian hospitality! Sat upstairs watching the football, great atmosphere and staff. Ate the Fish and chips, top quality fish excellently battered- classic and well done! My wife has the spicy kale salad... More

So - this is my second review of this Pub! My last one was for the Brunch, which I loved! So I thought we would visit again for the Sunday Lunch. It is hard to find a really good English Sunday Roast in Toronto - this place is a gem! We had the roast Beef, which you get 2 slices... More

My husband and I met some friends here for a drink and a bite to eat on a Saturday afternoon/early evening. We grabbed a spot upstairs on the couch in front of the tv (football was on, so my husband was happy). My husband was asking about the house beer and one of the waiters over heard us and he... More

Cosy fine dining. The mushroom pithivier was scrumptious and comes with an arugala salad. Fish and Chips are crispy and abundant. They even have an excellent non-alcoholic Getman beer. Good aelection of desserts. We chose walnut treacle tart which was delicious. Moderate prices and excellent value. There are also some inexpensive items on the menu, like sardines and tomatoes on... Warm, pleasant atmosphere and friendly efficient service. Variety of beers on tap and the food is excellent. We tried the fish pie and the fish and chips, both of which were delicious. The batter for the fish and chips was excellent, crispy with a tang of beer but not overwhelming the haddock. Walking distance from U of T and the... More

I'm here all the time. They have London Pride. And proper English sport on the telly. Its more of a country style pub rather than a big city giant beer hall. Comfy chairs all around and a fireplace and carpets. The food is a modern twist on British with some classics always available. Some outdoor seating.

Just a wonderful spot. More upscale than your typical British pub the decor is almost elegant and the food is spectacular. My wife and I stopped by for dinner and started with cocktales in the bar upstairs. It was busy with an after-work crowd. But we still found a table and a server brought our drinks quickly. We tried their... More

Cute, cozy interior and delicious English pub food! I had the fish and chips and oh man, it was soooo good! There was an upstairs which I regret not sitting in, but looked cool! The lower level was more quieter/"fancier" and the upstairs seemed much more casual; perfect for a few pints and to watch the game. Would recommend! :)

Had dinner here with my wife and she raved about the fish and chips whilst/while I tried the curried duck dish - which was delicious. I paired the food with a black 'champagne' beer from Quebec which was very good too. Service was efficient boy not overly friendly. Ambiance was good ( a converted late 19th century townhouse - the... More
