We went with a large group to enjoy some time together. The atomospher was nice, the food was good, but the staff ruined the evening. We had to listen to what seemed like a eternity of nonsense on different steaks. .... Jacobs, contrary to your belief we can all read. We do not need a 20 lecture on steaks from... More

This place was recommended and coming from NYC and having steaks at Peter Lugers I was a bit apprehensive !! But I was pleasantly surprised and we ordered quite a bit from the menu and all the choices came out fantastic. From tenderloin to porterhouse steak it was well done and the service is impeccable. They are very accommodative and... More

Jacobs comes highly recommended as a Toronto steakhouse. The bread is delicious, and the caesar salad is well presented. The Steak we chose was the 18oz Guelph t bone and it was fantastic though a bit salty-why they presented us with three types of salt to try is beyond me! Wine was well chosen by our attentive server. This is... More

We totally don't get why some people say the steak is average. Oh my god , it's definitely the best steak we've ever had !! We ordered the T-bone steak from quebec ! It's 25oz shared by my hubby and I ! Juicy , tender, right temperature , awesome taste !! I can't even express in writing how good the... More

My fiancee and I ate here in January to celebrate a big occasion. I must say that both our food and service was excellent - our server, in fact, was probably the best we have ever had; he was knowledgeable, made some great suggestions and knew enough not to linger. We each had a steak and also split a 4oz... More

This place is just average. The steak was just ok and the spinach was awful. French fries were good, but what french fry isn't? Drinks were pathetic (but most are in Toronto) because all are a measured pour. WTH.

You definately get what you pay for. Did not have a reservation which confused the hostess for a moment, we were seated at the oyster bar. Wine was excellent. The caeser salad presentation is fantastic. Our steaks were perfect. Service and ambiance was flawless. One of the best experiences in Toronto.

Definitely not a good choice if you're penny pinching. It's one of the best steak houses I've ever been to. A real find in the heart of Toronto!

Ok, the steak, whatever, it was steak, expensive steak at that....you can buy steak that was raised here or there, grassfed vs corn fed.....it all seemed like steak to me, but the monkey bread was amazeballs!! The best ive ever had anywhere!
