Best Steakhouse I know in Toronto

This was not just the best steakhouse i have found in Toronto, it may be the best restaurant I have found in Toronto. First, start with the steak. My partner and I shared an 18 ounce bone-in New York Strip, Hereford, not Angus, dry aged 50 days. For serious carnivores, Hereford is much more... read more

The steak was not nearly as tasty as expected or it should have been for the price and reputation. It was burned, not seared, and a little tough. The Keg could have done better and at 1/3 of the price!!

This was our 1st visit but I must say it will not be our last. There is a warm greeting from the hostess and then the adventure begins. The wait staff gives you all the information needed to understanding the many different meats available, and there is many to choose from. The rest of the menu does not disappoint either.... More

Regular visitor of this restaurant but every time I leave more satisfied than the last. Once you eat steak here you will never accept any other. Food, atmosphere and service is implacable. Must reserve as even weekdays are always full.

The steaks were amazing and also side dishes which can be boring were very tasty. The feel of the restaurant is very sophisticated with almost Moneypenny-like staff taking you to your table! It wasn't until we left that I realised that the man on the door to meet and greet is actually Jacob - nice touch Jacob! Would definitively go... More

Started off with a Caesar salad for two, created at our table to die for. Glad I was spared for the entre, that refused to disappoint. Along with a selection of wines and beverages maybe not offered anywhere else in Toronto, definitely raises the bar for any to aspire to. Menu items were quite unique to justify the final tally,... Very good steak, not the best I have ever eaten but still very high quality. Great Caesar salad where they make it fresh right at your table. That was very unique and delightful.

This restaurant regularity features on the top steakhouses list for Toronto and it's not hard to see why. The staff are very knowledgeable about their product and take the time to explain the different cuts of each steak. The starters/desserts are very good but the meat is the star of the show and comes with 3 types of salt and... More

Many of you know that I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars but Jacobs fits my criteria of excellent food and service. First the service. The steaks come from Canadian, American, Australian and Japanese beef. Our waiter explained each source and cut and suggested that we try 3 steaks for 4 people. We could have used 2 steaks. The steaks... More

My family & I went to Jacob & Company for dinner last night. It was perfect from start to finish! The staff was outstanding the atmosphere as well as the food. We have been to many steakhouses over the years. Mortons Harbour 60, but this out did them all. We would defiantly recommend it & will certainly return!! Did I... More
