Good steak

I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in May for one night and dined at Arriba. The service was fast and friendly. They were flexible in regards to substitutions. The steak was delicious.

My boyfriend I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel during our stay in Toronto. We stayed in a room that overlooked the ball field (very cool!). We ate at Arriba a few times during our stay. The food here was great and the service was excellent. We were waited on by Whitney (at the bar) and Alex (in the dining room).... More

We went there for breakfast, we had pancakes (house' s speciality) and they were soft and delicious, oatmeal was made from scratch considering diet restrictions and it was perfect. Service was amazing, Alex was very special...really gives you VIP service, ask for him ;)

We had eaten at Arriba about a year ago and had a delicious meal and service then. We took our Mother back for a meal a few months later, and everything was fantastic still. So it was only natural that this time when we were in Toronto we went to eat at Arriba again. We were fortunate enough to have... More

The fish and chips I ordered did seem to be cooked - it was a little soggy. Service was good but don't order the fish and chips.

I love coming to Arriba, all the dishes are superb, though I would highly recomnmed the 12 oz steak. It was cooked as I requested it. I have been to this restaurant so often and I can definitely say it is one of my favorites. Also our server was fantastic, Alex. He was extremely helpful in suggesting items that pair... More

As part of our hotel reservation, we received a food voucher for any meal in their restaurant and decided to have lunch before attending a conference. We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed with their delicious roasted vegetable panini...just fabulous... and the best we've ever had....anywhere.

By chance, I happened upon Arriba. Lucky me!! Arriba has to be the best place in Toronto to catch a Blue Jays game.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
