Get the window seat

Snag the window seat if you can otherwise it gets way too loud on Friday or sat to hear your dinner companions. The burger is my favourite. I rarely eat burgers unless they are from a upscale restaurant...and this one is dirty and fabulous.

My experience of the Harbord Room is nothing short of awesome! I have been here by myself, during a business trip to Toronto. I researched a little and found this restaurant on several sites, it's never at the top spot but I thought it could have been a good pick. Well my instinct was wrong... It's not good, it's AWESOME!... More

We showed up at the restaurant on a Thursday evening at 9pm and the place was hopping. The hostess was very polite and seated us at the bar, as the tables were full. However, when a reservation didn't show, she came over and asked if we would like a table. We had Borani, a yogurt based, dip that was fresh... More

Meat lovers rejoice! Today is National Burger Day. Toronto boasts many restaurants with excellent burgers. My favourite burger, in particular, can be found at The Harbord Room. The narrow and intimate restaurant prepares select international dishes from charred leek and eggplant borani with za'atar, pomegranate seeds and crispy pita ($9) to house-made rigatoni with spicy sausage ($17). However, the dry-aged... More

My wife and I and another couple had the pleasure of having dinner at Harbord Room. We were met with a big smile, escorted to our table and briefed on the night's offerings. Kahlin, our server, was outstanding. She knew the menu, answered questions and was very engaging. Outstanding food, outstanding service and a cozy atmosphere. It is on our... More

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! The atmosphere is brilliant. We sat at the corner of the bar, the stalls are super comfortable, the food is totally delicious and the drinks are beyond brilliant! I had the burger. Now if your a burger lover I would say this is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. So juicy and flavourful!... More

We really enjoyed our dinner last night. The burgers were huge and juicy...loved the grilled onion on the burger and the fries that it came with. We would definitely go back. Great service was nice to experience as well.

A true gem just west of Spadina! In the bustling, romantic Harbord Village very near to UofT lies this lovely resto! Try the legendary burger! Very friendly staff! Make sure to say hi to Dave Mitton, resident mixologist!

I had high expectations, having heard many good things about the restaurant, so perhaps this biased my views, but I was disappointed. Service was friendly, but not totally professional. We were never offered bread as an example, despite the fact it seemed to arrive at other tables without requests. After I asked for bread they brought some, but then I... More

Had dinner the other night with a friend. The restaurant is small, and very quaint. It has an extensive list of cocktails that are very unique and extremely tasty! Service was attentive but not over bearing and gave good suggestions when asked about the menu and evening specials. For dinner we had the beef tartare and the ceviche. The beef... More
