Harbord Village Gem

A true gem just west of Spadina! In the bustling, romantic Harbord Village very near to UofT lies this lovely resto! Try the legendary burger! Very friendly staff! Make sure to say hi to Dave Mitton, resident mixologist!

My wife and I and another couple had the pleasure of having dinner at Harbord Room. We were met with a big smile, escorted to our table and briefed on the night's offerings. Kahlin, our server, was outstanding. She knew the menu, answered questions and was very engaging. Outstanding food, outstanding service and a cozy atmosphere. It is on our... More

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! The atmosphere is brilliant. We sat at the corner of the bar, the stalls are super comfortable, the food is totally delicious and the drinks are beyond brilliant! I had the burger. Now if your a burger lover I would say this is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. So juicy and flavourful!... More

We really enjoyed our dinner last night. The burgers were huge and juicy...loved the grilled onion on the burger and the fries that it came with. We would definitely go back. Great service was nice to experience as well.

I had high expectations, having heard many good things about the restaurant, so perhaps this biased my views, but I was disappointed. Service was friendly, but not totally professional. We were never offered bread as an example, despite the fact it seemed to arrive at other tables without requests. After I asked for bread they brought some, but then I... More

Had dinner the other night with a friend. The restaurant is small, and very quaint. It has an extensive list of cocktails that are very unique and extremely tasty! Service was attentive but not over bearing and gave good suggestions when asked about the menu and evening specials. For dinner we had the beef tartare and the ceviche. The beef... More

Went to Harbord Room for the first time last night with my wife and daughter. The place is very small but absolutely charming, it's done up in a very French-bistro style, down to the ceiling fans powered by a single motor and a long belt. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, service is polite and unpretentious. I had the warm octopus... More

Had a fantastic dinner here catching up with 2 of my best friends. It's a small quaint little space that offers a menu packed with lots of incredible flavours. Since we all enjoy good food and conversation when we get together, this was the perfect spot for our reunion. I ordered the white fish ceviche to start and everything on... More

I became a hopeless addict of the burger at HR about three years ago and it has been a love affair since then. You cannot go wrong here be it for the burger or otherwise. The service is excellent, the establishment cosy and the prices, most reasonable.

I was given a gift card for this restaurant and very happy that I did. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is fantastic. The oysters were fresh, the charcuterie plate had a selection of in-house cured meats and the wild boar pasta main was excellent. The ginger cake dessert was to die for.
