Loved the vegetarian and vegan options! I had the lemonade with spinach and it taste amazing, better then it sounds! :) Ton's of fruit, rice bread is great! Service is friendly, welcoming and informative! The food court and area is a little odd but the food is delicious! Also, bring cash as they don't have a debit machine! Oh and... More

We had breakfast at Kaine's. it's in a food court in a rundown shopping area. The food was good, it came with fresh fruit. But the area just seemed dingy and run down.

Food court food tends to be dominated by the chains so to find a small restaurant that is independently owned and operated is special. Karine's in The Village by the Grange located on McCaul street across from the Art Gallery of Ontario beats all the competition with its range of excellent, largely vegetarian options. The $5. Breakfast Special fills a... More

Fresh! Healthy! Delicious! Beautifully presented! Bargain priced! Fantastic Service! I worked in this area for years and only discovered this amazing little place when I asked for a recommendation from a TFF volunteer and he said "everyone eats there! Stars and volunteers alike!" Their smoked salmon salad was incredible - a full plate of extraordinary food - for only $10!... More

The food here is amazing. Breakfast and lebanese-esque food with quality rivaling gourmet restaurants but a price range everyone can afford, meals range between $5 to $11 including tax but not including a drink. Many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, freshly squeezed juice. An unexpected gem in an otherwise tacky food court next to the ago (art gallery of... More

I recently popped in at the food court in the Village on the Grange after a visit to the AGO, and was happy to find a mostly vegan restaurant offering all-day breakfast at great prices! I was going to have a waffle (around $11), but the cheap in me decided to go with the vegan French toast ($5, including tax!).... More

We stumbled upon this cute little restaurant one morning after applying for a visa from a local consulate. A twenty something with a red 50's retro head band was text'ing on a "victorian" couch behind the counter. What? We were surprised and impressed at the same time. This place has character, let's buy something to eat. We ordered two #1... More

One thing about Karine's is for certain - they are busy and for good reason. They provide personal, gracious and welcoming service alongside their hearty vegan breakfast fare. We were only in Toronto for 3 days and ate there for breakfast twice - we should've went three times. Portions are big, fresh fruit is included with everything and when mom... More

Neat set up in a good location. I was excited to try it because it looked so cute and has a great concept. Unfortunately, overall the service and food were terrible! We went for a mid-week breakfast. There were a few people ahead of us but it was not busy by any means. They took our order and assured us... More
