My New Toronto Favourite

Had an amazing dinner here last night. The cavatelli pugiliese is the best thing I've eaten this year and I now understand why people make the trip for the sticky toffee pudding alone. Incredible service and an elegant atmosphere. I'm looking for an excuse to go back.

Went for Winterlicious and had a great lunch. Unlike other restaurants they didn't cheapen down the menu for winterlicious. For $35 we had an appetizer, main, desert, and a glass of wine. The corn soup had a subtle southwestern flavour with a crunch, Thai beef salad was light but very flavourful, and the salted caramel ice-cream a treat. While the... More

Ate here with my gf, food was top notch and the room was very well done, must have cost a fortune to set-up. For the amount we spent it wasn't great value though, about $150 for 2 for dinner and I was still hungry after, typical fine dining with small portions.

I have wanted to eat here for a while, but when I go to Toronto I tend to eat close to what I am doing there. No more! We went here for winterlicious, I was checking out menus and Nota Bene offerings were awesome. I tied the QUEBEC DUCK & FOIE GRAS TERRINE, "TONGUE & CHEEK" and the ARTISANAL CANADIAN... More

Food is close to the best meal we had in Toronto. Winterlicious deal is even better. Our only little complaint (not significant) was that the tongue was cooked to the point it lost its texture. Service was tentative, not intrusive. High point for the restaurant is that it promotes Ontario ingredient, and their Ontario wine selection is excellent..

Came here for Winterlicious 2015 knowing that it would not be the usual crowd eating at the restaurant. However, the politeness and professionalism of the dinning room staff gave us a good first impression. We began with the Quebec duck & foie gras terrine and crisp duck salad, and followed with the grilled Mediterranean seabass and "tongue and cheek". The... More

Masterful planning, exquisitely executed lighting, tasteful modern finishes, informed yet unobtrusive service, and an excellent bar with a popular casual seating area. Oh yes, great food and drink menu, too. Nota Bene is Toronto's unsurpassed metropolitan dining experience. Though it may not feel complimentary to the kitchen and ownership, I have an admission to make. As an architect, dining at... More

Excellent food, excellent service. Limited choices for vegetarians and nothing on menu for vegans, but one of our party was gluten free and an alternative was quickly and easily provided with no fuss. Well worth a visit.

Good food but a bit expensive for what it is. Not the best choice for a romantic dinner. More appropriate for corporate meals

Went for dinner, extremely overpriced for what you get. 2 people with a decent bottle of wine..almost $500. Ridiculous. Good staff but definitely not worth it. Could have gone to the Keg or similar and had a better meal for way less $$.
