A nice evening at Nota Benefit.

We had a quiet evening here last week. The food and service were very good. Highlights were the Bresaola salad, soft shell crab and the Pugliese pasta. Halibut was a little too salty for my taste. A reasonably priced Barolo rounded out the evening. Service was attentive without being over stuffy.

Went with a friend who had recommended the restaurant. Beautiful calm setting and wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. I had the crispy duck salad which was delicious for a starter and the beef tenderloin which was perfectly done but only pretty good. The lemon curd pavlova was amazing and cannot recommend this enough! All were recommended by the server.... More

Had a late dinner at Nota Bene. I called to see if they were able to accommodate me for dinner at 10:30 pm on a Thursday. The answer was a rotund YES. I had the banquet burger and my companion ordered the black cod and a side of fiddle heads. The hamburger was delicious and so were the fresh cut... More

Brought my girlfriend here for dinner on New Years. Server was hands down the most professional server I've experienced - very knowledgeable and prompt. For appetizers we both ordered the mushroom salad, which was very simple yet flavorful and well composed. For main I ordered the tenderloin and my girlfriend ordered the truffle mushroom cavatelli. Steak was cooked perfectly and... More

great service, delicious cocktails but the food was disappointing. small portions and not exceptional taste for the price charged. bresaola salad and calamari starters were ok but very small portion - certainly not "shareable for two". green pea ravioli was ok and the halibut wasnt exceptional. fish and pasta are ubiquitous so why not offer a unique preparation? the fiddleheads... I recently enjoyed a very good business lunch meeting at Nota Bene - helped by the very efficient & courteous service , the excellent food ( not your normal chicken salad ) and the comfortable ambiance of the restaurant . Kudos to the chef for the food and to management for having such well trained wait staff . Definitely worth... More

I went to nota bene with a group of girlfriends, for a bachelorette party. We've all heard a lot about this place and were excited to experience it for ourselves. Although the service was very good, I found the menu lacked variety and the portions were small especially for the prices. I ordered the cod, which was $34 and was... More

We have been here a few times. It is conveniently close to the Four Season performance center. First, they do a great job on G&Ts. They have a good gin selection but complement this with a selection of tonics and choice of ice (cubed, chipped, shaved). Ours were served with a selection of lemon grass, rose hips and cucumber. The... More

I found the restaurant spacious and visually appealing. We tried the Crispy Duck Salad which is by far one of the best I have tried. I can't say I have ever tried Sumac before, but my God what an explosion of flavor. Wow, we talked about it afterwards, and both agreed on its uniqueness. Our main meal ended up being... More

Was just ok. Liked the house made tonic water although the color looked a little odd. Service was pedestrian and didn't offer any explanation on dishes. Had to chase to get our waiter. Dishes were ok but small. My halibut was nice but colleagues black cod disappointing
