Mish-mash of wonderful flavors!

You can sit at the bar or in the dining area. It's pretty reasonably priced given the expense account digs. The menu is eclectic. You can choose from Asian influenced salads, Italian pastas, burgers, etc. It's got an option for most people. I leaned on the staff's recommendations, as I'd never... read more

Tried the bluefin tuna sashimi, heirloom tomato salad, onion tings, tortellini and the Mediterranean sea bass. All of these were exceptional. Service was great The bread was the only thing that could have been better.

The splendid service and the food quality are badly marred by small portions and gross overpricing, that reminds me of the childhood tale, The Emperor Has No Clothes. This place is not for the faint-hearted, as you may faint when you see your bill for a light lunch. I left hungry, even after having the calamari, fish, and blueberries. There... More

We were a group of 8 people for a late lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was quite empty, and so there was no excuse for the terrible service we got from our waitress. When you have to stand up and look for your waiter 3 times during a meal... and especially at a restaurant that's $$$$ ... thats not... More

I booked this to celebrate a friends birthday. It turns out it was the last evening of Summerlicious. When I made the reservation I didn't book as Summerlicious but our waiter placed both menus out for us to decide. Our waiter was charming, brought us champagne to toast complimentary and made very good recommendations. The food was cooked to perfection, great... More

This post contains images of our recent lunch at Nota Bene Restaurant/Café on Queen Street West in Toronto. We went to enjoy Estrella Tapas Journey which took place from August 14 to 23, 2015. We drank Estrella Damm draught beer. We ate Belly Buster Sliders - roasted pork belly, cheese bun, homemade ketchup, pommes frites and pickle; Buttermilk-Fried Chicken -... More

Dined at Nota Bene while in Toronto on business. This is a fabulous restaurant. I had the Taste of August tasting menu with wine pairings (you can see this on the restaurant website: http://notabenerestaurant.com/downloads/menus_nb/dinner.pdf . Everything was superbly presented and exquisitely flavored--intense, but with nice balance, and the flavor of each ingredient coming through clearly. Named best new restaurant in... More

Business lunch with clients last week, place is nicely located in Queen St. West. Close to subway and street cars. Style from outside business/ elegant. Service is good, food is nice, pricey little bit but ok. Over all experience was pleasant in the best in town but still good. No name from outside so if you don't look carefully for... More

Though my lobster pasta wasn't as tasty as I had hoped for, everyone else's dishes were very good. Excellent service, and by all accounts consistently good.

We went in later in the afternoon as we arrived in Toronto just after lunch. Walked in and we were told lunch service was over but, come in anyway! Wow. We were escorted to a window table. Our server was friendly and very professional, excellent service! The food was great. Between the four of us we ordered a wide variety... More
