And so the search for Canada's best wood burning oven pizza continues... Definitely a great pizza! I'd recommend having it there rather than doing take out. The flavor just doesn't hold after you've brought it home. The food was tasty and especially the garlic cloves add a distinctive taste! The service was a little slow to start off with but... More

We showed up without reservations. Staff was able to accommodate us after a short wait. Service was great. The food was amazing. We had appetizers and 3 pizzas. Calamari, fried knochi, arrancini were awesome. Pizza is the closest to Napolitan pizza that we've found in Toronto. Can't wait to go back!

Lunching at Pizzeria Libretto was awesome. The food was amazing! I ordered from the fixed priced menu which consisted of a beet salad caprese salad, a margherita pizza and a gelato for dessert. The entire meal cost $15 and was delicoso! It reminded me of my recent trip to Rome. The service was efficient although our server seemed to be... More

The place was crowded and we naturally assumed the food was delicious. We each ordered a pizza dish and they weren't cheap. However if the food is delicious, I don't mind the price at all. Plus it is wooded oven as it is a perfect way to cook your pizza. Finally the pizza arrived and it was surprisingly sloppy. I... More

We visited the University location on the second night of the patio opening. Our waitress was very attentive and even the manager took interest as well. Our pizzas were very tasty, but if you like gnocchi, the app is to die for and we LOVED the Rocco salad! Lovely experience throughout, highly recommend.

Seriously--the pizza is outstanding. Prices are very reasonable--the salads and small desserts included in the prix fixe are excellent, and for an additional $5, you get a wider choice of pizzas. Go with an appetite; you'll leave very, very, very happy.

First, you have to understand pizza as Italians prepare it. Thick crust, drenched with tomato sauce and buried under a thick blanket of cheese is not the Italian style. Italians prefer a thin crust, light toppings, and a moderate amount of fresh mozzarella, so that each ingredient stands alone: You actually taste the breadiness of the crust, the sauce presents... The ambience, food and knowledge and charm of the servers is so much better at Ossington. Food two hairs embedded in the sausage and caramelized onion pizza from University Ave when went there for dinner - yuck. Waiter hurried us throughout dinner - three times said was bringing the bill though we had been there only an hour and were... More

Mouthwatering choices! Good prices, great service, awesome food! Delish! Tasty! For dinner we had: Arancini (traditional Italian risotto balls) - pine nut basil pesto, bufala mozzarella, peperonata, tomato - YUM YUM YUM! Libretto Meatballs - tomato sauce, crostino, grana padano - Nice flavour in the sauce - I like my meatballs gamier Cremini Mushroom Pizza - mozzarella di bufala, gorgonzola,... More
