We were very pleased to have tried Libretto on our last trip to Toronto. The place is a nice mix of modern surroundings and old world pizzeria "savoir fairer". The home bread served with oil and balsamic was simply yummy and the pizza with duck just amazingly tasty. We had tried to go for dinner but reservations are a must... More

I've eaten pizza in Naples, and Pizza Libretto's neapolitan pizza is excellent. The crust is excellent, maintaining that sticky texture. We started with arancini and then had the prosciutto and arugula. There is typically an extremely long wait to get a table (they'll text you when it's ready), but once you're in service is pleasant and speedy. The pizzas are... More

Newly opened University location, takes reservations. Great décor and ambience, service is average, is very busy. Pizza was authentic and delicious. We had the Ontario Prosciutto and Cacciatore Salami pizzas. Also enjoyed the Libretto meatball and arancini as appetizers. Great value for the quality, we will return!

Prefix at $20 for lunch is a great deal. Wine list is limited and expensive. Pizzas were good, crust hard to cut as knives are cheap. Was easier to pick up with my fingers, not my favourite. Salads were delicious but my biscotti at the end was hard enough to use as a hammer. Even the coffee didn't help. The... More

We went to the new Pizzeria Libretto on University Avenue in Toronto last Thursday. It is a fairly new restaurant in this area and was very busy. Beautiful place, we waiting a little while but the food was excellent. We got the Price Fix for $15. Salad, pizza and gelato for dessert. The pizza was just like in Naples Italy.... More

I recently went to the newly opened location at University and Adelaide St. which like others mention, is easily accessible through the PATH underground. I had the $15 3-course lunch special (whaaaaat? 15 bucks?!) I ordered the beet salad to start and the margarita pizza for my main. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate gelato. All were excellent! Service was... More

Went with a colleague for lunch and was very pleased overall with food, ambiance and service at the University location. Just a stone throwaway from the Toronto underground PATH. Had the lunch special with Beet Salad, Mushroom pizza (Extra $5) and a Espresso Gelato. The beet and cheese were fresh and nicely presented and tasted good, simple and well made.... More

One of the best pizza in Toronto! When we lived in Toronto we went to Libretto pretty often. Pizza is wonderful, cozy atmosphere, excellent service. Oh...you have to taste the tiramisù!!!! Is very good, served in a glass.

We had travelled over from the UK via Iceland and although it was the evening it was 2.00am British time so we were exhausted ! The waiter was very helpful and gave us a good rundown on the pizzas and also gave a good account of the kraft beers. Pizzas were very good, as good as many we have tasted... More

My wife finished a big project at 11:00 am, and the reward was to have lunch at Pizzeria Libretto. Great decision, if I do say so myself. It's super-crowded at night and also very loud. At lunch, it's quite casual and calm; we had several discussions with several servers, all of them interesting. The salad was delicious and featured a... More
