Great place for dinner

I went to the Pizzeria Libretto on University Avenue and loved it! The pizza was genuine Napoli style and the gelato was lovely.

Very busy restaurant, simple and contemporary interior decoration. Good pizza, bread, appetizer, etc.

Went to Pizzeria Libretto on Saturday night. Decided to go to the Ossington restaurant, as it would be fun. Small lineup but we were seated right away. Very friendly staff. We had some wine on the recommendation of our server (it was very good) and then shared the large Antipasto. Lots of food--very fresh and tasty--meats and cheeses and breads.... More

I just ate at Pizzeria Libretto this week in Toronto. They have 3 locations in the city, but I ate at the original. They have a great list of wines by the glass, 1/4 litre, 1/2 litre, and bottle and a great menu. As I was by myself, I ordered a pizza, but I really wanted to have a sampler... More

I love this place. We go here once a month and I always order the special pizza. I have not been disappointed yet! The staff are very helpful. Try Rocco's salad. It's a treat to go here!

Very tasty authentic wood oven pizza's with fresh ingredients. I could have a dinner of just the crust alone. The Ossington location is the original restaurant and it's got a good vibe, although for some it could be too noisy. Our waitress was excellent - knowledgeable and courteous. I found it too be slightly expensive as for a family of... More

For authentic Italian cuisine, look no further. Libretto keeps things simple and to the basics- thin crust pizzas with fresh toppings, delicious pastas, salads, beef carpaccio, Italian desserts. Great lunch prix fixe menu that includes a salad, pizza and dessert. Prices are reasonable. Gets very busy and quite loud at night.

For a true Naples style thin crust pizza, this is the place. Appetizers are great too. We usually order the plain cheese Magherita or with anchovies. Prices are midrange. Style is casual. Sevice is fast and courteous. Great fun.

I was staying downtown in the entertainment district one weekend and on a quiet Sunday night I had a craving for Italian. I had passed by Pizzeria Libretto on University Ave a couple times that weekend so I knew where it was so decided to check it out. It was a good decision. The restaurant was not terribly busy which... More
