My husband's company decided to do their Christmas gathering here. Great atmosphere, enough seating for everyone. The staff did a great job of serving drinks. Good selection of salad, chicken, salmon, potatoes, pasta, and soup, and cooked well. Great selection of dessert as well. Event went flawlessly. Nothing to complain about!

Quiet on the weekend. Most of the guests of a wedding were staying at the Cosmpolitan so this was a convenient place to meet for drinks. Bartenders were friendly, overall a simple place to grab a drink.

We stopped in here after a late night dinner had were pleasantly surprised! A gentleman by the name of John Campbell was playing the piano and singing some of our favourite tunes. We had wonderful service and met some new friends. I can't wait until we return.

We managed to get the saught after balcony tables with the canopy. Best seat in the village. We ordered numerous bottles all night and watched the village happen around us. Perfect selection of wine and the staff went out of their way to find us bottles even though they were "sold out". Our server had an amazing sense of humour... More

We decided to partake of Winterlicious with an early dinner before going to the theatre to see the Wizard of Oz; it was also my birthday. As the choices were slim in the area of the Mirvish Theatre, we chose Eight Wine Bar because it was on route and the menu looked good. What a pleasant surprise! The spot is... More

I visited the 8 wine bar during my spa visit at the Cosmopolitan, this is a fantastic place to meet with friends. Service is excellent, staff very welcoming, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it.

I picked up some soup and salad from the bar after a workout and took it up to my room - the servers were very friendly, and the food was great - huge portions! A bit expensive, but pretty typical for a downtown hotel bar.

We only had wine on a late afternoon visit. Service was friendly. Nice comfortable seating in an intimate space. Decent selection of wines. We would go back again.

My wife and I had dinner here at the beginning of July - had a hard time finding it because its tucked away a tiny little street north-west of King and Yonge. The place was pretty relaxed with the restaurant seating area just off of the bar area. We lucked out having dinner on a Friday night because all of... More

The prosciutto and the "tempura onion" add some lovely crispiness. Mmmm.
