Upscale dining, moving their location

I believe they are moving and the building was sold. The food was good. The built a steady client base. Upscale dining.

Come early before your reservation so you can sit at the bar. Mike makes his own infusions and cocktail extras. Ask him for the daily special or tell him what you like. You will find Sazeracs made with real Rye and his homemade maraschino cherries. The wine list is eclectic and original. The food is exceptional. The staff are friendly... More

We celebrated with 20 others in a private second floor dining room. We were greeted with a lovely flower centrepiece at a spacious square table. Our server was considerate to our needs with his impeccable French service. The entrees were delicious especially the blackened short ribs. We were able to bring in a wedding cake and have it plated for... More

We found Table 17 a very pleasant local haunt in the Broadview Queen area. The environment is warm and intimate and the food is simple but well prepared. A very nice place to meet friends for a casual dinner.

This place came highly recommended. Perhaps it was an off-night. The pheasant was dry, oh so dry and the pasta so overcooked it was almost mush. And the polenta? Well is was mush, which can be very satisfying when it's tasty, but this was baby food mush. But the service was good. At least that. And the company was great.

We were pleasantly surprised by their amazing brunch. There are well-known brunch places in the area, but they were busy. The menu was not huge, but everything on it was excellent. The yogurt parfait with honey and hazelnuts sounds simple but was some of the best.

I went there for the first time for our 5th anniversary. We received a 5 star service, the server took our jackets and made sure that no one was too close to our table while there were still other tables available which allow us a little privacy. The server gave us some great recommendations for food and drink. At one... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
