This is a small tapas restaurant located in the kensington Market area. The menu is small but the food and service are great.

The croquetas are to die for, the best I ever had ! Just enough variety to keep everyone happy and simplify the ordering process.

While walking around Chinatown in Toronto we asked a local for a good place for a snack. He recommended Torito. It was a small restaurant not far from Toronto campus and close to Chinatown. We ordered beers, and a few tapas. The food was very fresh and very good. We had two cheese tapas, chorizo tapa, and steak with frites.... More

We have been to Torito many times and was never disappointed. The service is always friendly. The food reminds me of what we had in Barcelona. Fantastic value for what you get. It is a casual place where the tapas is just great. My husband and I are both foodie and goes out every week for different cuisines. This is... More

This small and intimate spot on Augusta Ave. (the northern tip of the Kensington Market- also this neighbourhood is potentially the most vibrant spot in the city for the past decade). Torito is a restaurant I've walked by on numerous occasions but never found the time to take a step in. Well good time I decided to go this time.... More

The reviews of this place are inaccurate and, in some cases, asinine. The restaurant is not expensive by Canadian standards. (Where are these people used to eating--East Side Mario's?) We ate at this place by accident, and were very happy we did. My wife and I are very picky foodie types. We have high standards, and just don't know what... More

I was very excited to eat at Torito just from the looks of the place. I have had tapas before and was VERY disappointed with just about everything this restaurant had to offer other than the atmosphere and the beer. First of all the service was absolutely horrendous. Our waiter had to ask us multiple times for the same order... More

Well, first of all: This bar is Spanish from Spain, not Mexico (I readed an opinion saying that they wanted mexican food). After saying that I want to say several things about it. Sorry for my english but I didn't learn it correctly. I am Spanish so maybe I am more critical with this place than many other people. The... More

We had heard great things about this restaurant and were looking to try a new Mexican place (we live in Toronto). This place has potential. The back patio is very nice and the service is great. Unfortunately, the food isn't good. The only good thing we had was the lychee cava. Everything else was either mediocre, or just bad. The... More
