Good food, but wouldn't recommend for frequent visits

The most notable aspect of this experience is having to grill the meat yourself. Not used to self-grilling at the table, and I contributed to a mess in front of me, but boy was it all tasty, reasonably-priced and above all, FUN. Service was attentive and patient with me, one who was seeking a buffet but knew nothing at the moment other than hunger!! Nice atmosphere!

Always love Korean food especially soup and grill. Tried this place since the review was very convincing but was not impressed. At all. Food was edible since we were hungry, the tofu soup I ordered too greasy, a little slow and pricey for what you get.

The meat choices were numerous. The sides were good. My main problem was that some of the meats were too sweet, Service was attentive even though none of us got the beef soup listed on the menu as part of the all you care to eat price. Restaurant and restrooms could use a thorough, deep cleaning.

We came across this place a couple of years ago on a previous trip to TO and when we found ourselves looking for a place to eat again recently, we dropped in. The place is always bustling but we didn't have any problem getting service. We didn't mind grilling our food and besides, that's half the fun. In the US,... More

We stumbled upon one of these (Yonge and Bloor), late on our first night in Toronto. This was a pleasant surprise. The service was great by our server, a very nice young lady. We expressed to her that we do not eat seafood or pork and they very courteously made other recommendations. We enjoyed the whole indoor grill your own... More

If you are hungry don't choose this place! You will have to grill everything by yourself which takes a lot of time, the meat comes in small trays and you have to "catch" the waitor every time you want a refill which is actually not that easy !

This is the first time that we dine in a Korean Restaurant with the actual grill table top, since we barely have anything like this in London ON.. My husband and I really enjoyed it together. Their staff aren't that friendly, and they seem very busy as it took us at least more than 5mins to be seated. We had... More

I went here just last Sunday with my gf and mom. We came in just after 10PM for the night owl. Just after we finished our first order, we had ordered for another round of rice. Both servers kept coming back to other tables to fill up their water and dropped off their orders and completely avoiding our table. I... More

It's OK if you get the lunch for $10.99 which includes basic items - pork, beef, chicken. I found it's not worth it for the dinner for $16.99 in which you get beef ribs and some fish items. I think I became sick from the kimchee. I will go back but only for lunch and I will have only meat... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
