Me and my fiance went here for a meal. It was a Tuesday therefore it was extremely quite. The decor is very nice and the service was also quick. The quantity of food was large and a very decent menu. Overall I would recommend this place for ambience as well.

We were a table of 12 and had to be split on 2 separate tables when the place was completely empty. Service was pretty slow (my brothers meal got to him after we were all done). The food was not bad, I had the Wok seared teriyaki sirloin which was nothing special. But their hot spiked teas are great!

Lots of shareable items. Tasty but unmemorable. I would say it's ok for a group setting but would go elsewhere if it's minimum people due to the lack of intimacy.

i truly love going to this place. Wanted to make sure each visit was consistent before writing a review. I can certainly say that the experience, food and service were great. The manager Shane has always ensured we were taking care of and that service was always provided with a certain quality. He's always great to talk to and both... More

I have a lot of mixed feelings... Ambience is beautiful and chic... Food is normal... Drinks are good but pricy... I don't know... I came here for dinner with my girlfriend and some friends... All said The same things...

Had a very late dinner here with some colleagues following a conference this week. I understand that the kitchen was looking to close but was willing to seat and feed us anyway. The server we had was polite and accommodating even after a couple of individuals in our group were somewhat less than courteous. Food was delicious and the drinks... More

Went to the restaurant for dinner with my friends, and previously for a romantic dinner. This restaurant is great for couples, the food is really good and the decoration and ambiance is great.

First of all this is more of a lounge than a restaurant, it is way too loud, rowdy and dark to call this place remotely even a restaurant. The food is not good, was cold, and the servers were bringing out the wrong food from the appetizers to the main dishes. It was basically impossible to get our bill. Would... More

The visual look of the restaurant is stunning. The food and service was bad, there is nothing good to say about it. You'd think and Asian restaurant would get edamame beans right but it was just a bowl of already peeled beans, no seasoning or anything, just boiled beans. The bathrooms are interesting with the one way glass (we hope)... More

Went to the Spice Route for a light dinner with my mother after attending an event downtown. We ordered the citrus salad and the pad thai. We waited 40 minutes for our food to come out, even though the restaurant was only about a third full. The citrus salad was not fresh - the leaves were old, turning yellow and... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
