They serve food Very different than what I'm used to but they taste great. One concern is that I think the address given on this site may be incorrect, check with other listings before you make the trip.

Even though I don't live here anymore, I still come here for two things: spanakopita and loukoumades. I normally don’t go for filo pastries as I have often been disappointed with soggy, oily pastries. Spanakopita here is different. It’s crunchy on the outside and packed with a savory filling of mostly spinach with the right amount of feta cheese. It... More

The galaktoboureko and loukoumades here are delicious if you're in the mood for the sweet stuff. The tiropita and spanakopita are awesome if you're in the savoury mood. Great fresh coffee. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Great place to relax after having a nice lunch or dinner on the Danforth to enjoy some coffee and/or dessert.

We stopped here (after dinner somewhere nearby) for some pastries & coffee. Lots of people just hangin' out. Good spot.

I used to eat here often decades ago when I worked in the area. Little has changed and that is good. The price point is very reasonable and nobody would feel overcharged here. The menu is short and tight, all Greek specialties. I favour the spanakopita coz its just right for a quick bite or brief lunch. There are few... More

Went here to try the loukoumades. The first night, they had run out so figured they must be good. Went earlier in the day the next time when they were still available. They are different in that they are made, dipped in honey, and then left to sit out. That means most of the honey has already been absorbed by... More

Whenever I visit Toronto I make sure to pop into Athens for some loukoumades. My brother who lives on the Danforth discovered these delectable little honey drenched pastries and ever since he has to bring a box of them to my house 2 hours away whenever he visits. The other day while I was in the city for a meeting... More

The spanakopita and tiropita are some of the best in the city - if you visit the Danforth location! Worth taking home a box of treats and the sweet loukoumades are delicious too! Skip the new lakeshore location - the standards are not the same and the food was over-cooked and salty and totally disappointing after the fares of the... More

The pies are great value for money and the honey balls are pretty delicious. They're not like anything I've tasted before, in a good way. They're not for everyone though. I recommend this place to anyone.

I first visited this place when a friend brought me over ten years ago. Since then, I visit whenever I can to get some spanakopita. It's the best around! Crispy layers of phyllo with yummy spinach filling. It's always fresh because it's so busy! Their tiropita is also good but doesn't compare to their spanakopita. Their hot chocolate is nice... More
