Really nicely planned and executed menu, with casual yet professional service. Food from starters to dessert was consistently spot on. However, if you take a window seat late in the evening, be prepared to be distracted by the never ending parade of club going kids...

Really interesting menu that was well executed. Combine that with a professional wait staff and a nice low key vibe makes for a very enjoyable evening out on the town. The only distraction (not in a negative way) was watching from our window seat, the constant parade of kids going clubbing...lots of fun!

Its quite a mix of flavours on the menu , ranging from Jamaican to Thai. Not sure how you categorise the food but everything tasted really good , full of flavor, being from the Caribbean I enjoyed the mix of flavours. Definitely interesting. However I found the service slow , we were at a dinner meeting so we did not... More

The atmosphere was mediocre. The service was quite good- the waitress was very attentive. Cocktails were so so, but the wine list was ok. The soup (pumpkin) was the highlight of the meal. The Toronto tasting menu - it was poorly received on the Top Chef Canada show, and he should really give it up! The pork lettuce wrap -... More

Victor has become our favourite restaurant in downtown Toronto. The service and attention to detail is second to none. The food: divine. And the ambience exceptional, considering it's in the Entertainment District, which is the noisiest part of town. Our first visit was a very important business event. They pulled out all stops and made it a memorable evening for... More

This restaurant is now our favorite spot to visit before any show in the entertainment district. The Toronto tasting menu changes regularly, and we are always happy with the food and service. We will be back.

This is a good looking restaurant in a really good location in the downtown area of Toronto. We found it extremely convenient to most of the showings at the film festival. But. Most importantly, the food was quite good. That was especially true of the starters. Portions could have been bigger. Service was quite good and enjoyed the bar before... More

Went Monday September 15 2014. The place is very nicely designed and the overall ambiance was excellent, but I was not impressed with the staff or the "spiced" burger I ordered. First impression upon entering the restaurant/bar was "wow" what a cute place, but that went away once I spoke to the bartender. He did not greet me or smile... More

Yea, I couldn't taste much. Or anything. But this is still the best restaurant I've ever been to. My fiance told me the food was excellent. I believe her. The portions were great, despite them being part of the "tasting" menu. We opted to go only with items on the tasting menu, in order to have more variety. Sure, I... More

We were staying at Hotel Le Germain on Mercer street in Toronto where this restaurant is located and after reading reviews on urbanspoon and tripadvisor we decided to try. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is well decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bar area, a sitting/conversation area and tables. The menu is very nice... More
