Fresh, Delicious, and Consistant

We had three meals at Aroma. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. There was something for everyone in the family. It wasn't cheap, and it wasn't cheap food. Everything tasted like it was made fresh. The coffee was excellent. The salads were large and tasted healthy. We'll definitely return.

Recently had breakfast here. Food was decent, coffee good, service fine. But the place was not acceptably clean. Floors needed mopping; in the morning sun every glass window pane needed a good going over. Did not make me want to go back. There's too much local competition to be so careless. Also makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is....

Aroma Espresso Bar can be found on almost every street corner. I ordered a white chocolate latte and enjoyed relaxing in a comfy booth with friends. They give a little piece of chocolate with each coffee. The menu also includes smaller lunch items. The chicken and pesto sandwich was amazing!

I was here yesterday. Coffee was decent but the place was a mess. Most of the free tables had cups, plates etc. and even the clear ones had not been wiped down at all. No one seemed to be making an effort to clean the tables during the two hours I was there.

I'm not a huge cafe goer, but there are a few things I like about this place. It's not a huge chain (like Starbucks and Second Cup, directly across the street from this place). There are some great salads/salad and sandwich combos, tasty breakfasts. The staff seem to know what they're doing. They call your name over a loudspeaker (yes, they... More

Wonderfully fresh sandwiches and breakfast foods (chopped veggie salads and eggs). There are now 20 (or soon will be) Aroma franchise restaurants in Toronto and vicinity. Originally an Israeli chain, they have spread slowly abroad, but Toronto is really lucky to have so many. Maybe the best coffee in town.

We tried Aroma's salads and sandwiches, and found the food decent, but not outstanding. Both were rather bland - and that's from people who generally prefer food that is not spiced or strong tasting. The salad was mostly chopped up tomatoes and cucumbers that lacked any flavour, with equally tasteless quinoa. The mint was the only flavour that stood out.... More

I went to 2300 Yonge location in Toronto today and was hugely disappointed. I ordered a medium coffee and an almond crossoint. Firstly, no one asked me if I wanted my crossoint heated and did so without asking. So I got a somewhat burnt warmed up crossoint with a lukewarm coffee from a thermos that was almost empty for a... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
