A fine piece of prime rib-tender + cooked to my order just right. A bit shy on the cooked vegis and needed more au jus to moisten the excellent Yorkshire pudding-I'm not a fan of eating these dry! The salad bar had all fresh makings, but could've included a couple more items that are a requisite for a nice "chef's... More

Great food, great service. The buns are so yummy. We had a group of friends meet for my Birthday and the dining experience was great, however because we couldn't make a reservation we ended up waiting for an hour in the bar. It would be really nice if this place would take reservations to make the experience even better.

You could eat this prime rib without a knife at the Prospector restaurant. We were there as a mens group prior to a meeting. The food is excellent, the staff a lot of fun and the prices very reasonable. The beef soup that is always on the salad bar is homemade and delicious. There are various cuts of beef but... More

I, as others found the meat greasy and not all that tender. Salad bar never changes, and the buns are exactly as my wife makes. I could make a killing selling hers if that's all people like.

The Prospector makes their own buns which are included in the salad bar. They are always warm and fresh and complement the rest of the meal perfectly. I got the salmon, and it was perfectly cooked. Because my order took longer than the rest of my party's, the server have me a free dessert, which was completely unexpected. I ended... More

This is a very good restaurant in the city. They provide owner raised cattle beef, very tender and juicy. Their soup is mouth watering and delicious and they provide home made soft buns. A ood place to go for dinner with family and friends.

Whenever we are in the mood for great prime rib and delicious, fresh buns, this is where we head. Order a larger portion for a bit more cost and take home leftovers for tomorrow. The salad bar is also very good. You will not leave this restaurant hungry. There is a separate room available which we have used to accommodate... More

I had the fish meal and my husband had the prime rib meal. I found my meal heavy with butter/oil and would not order this again. My husband found the prime rib okay but certainly not the best. They have a great salad bar and the best fresh dinner rolls I have ever had. Unfortunately I am not sure I... More
