Friendly down home service

Had the pollock and shrimp . Next time would probably not get pollock but rather haddock or halibut . Lots of great sides had veggie and salad and this assuaged my guilt about the deep fried aspect of the meal.waitress was very friendly and genuine and even chef asked me how my meal was . I had low expectations when I went with the wife as she wanted to go. The service was good and the food was OK. Considering we are in the middle of Canada and no where near an ocean which means nearly all of our seafod here in town is frozen, the food was OK. Would I go back? Sure why... More

Good fish, but it always strikes me as over-priced when I eat here. I have only been here for lunch, so it might be better for dinner. Fries seem frozen, not fresh-made.

Always great food and service at Joeys whenever I have been. And while their fish and seafood selections are very good, i think their Angus burger is one of the best in town. Start with clam chowder or lobster bisque and it makes for a great lunch or dinner.

We arrived at 6:00 to an almost full house. This is a small family restaurant were many are repeat clients. I ordered crab legs for $25.00 and they were excellent , very sweet and a good portion and I enjoyed every bite. My friend had the cod and she also said her fish was good...no leftovers but we were fully... More

Tuesday is 'all you can eat' fish and chips which is a great deal.. The restaurant is well-run and service prompt but it's typical fast food layout.

We ate at Joey's twice in August and enjoyed our meals both times. Service was friendly & efficient and our fish dishes were well cooked and tasty. Wine list could add a Riesling for those with a sweeter taste. Limited but good dessert menu but don't expect the rice pudding to be of the "Old Fashioned" variety, it was very... More

It looks like a hole in the wall place and maybe it is but the fish was excellent. If you like fried fish, they have several kinds. Fried just right crisp on outside and flaky. We ate an early dinner so not many there. Server was very good and friendly too.

My friend had a hamburger which came with fries and a small, small salad. I had a pasta dish . Food was just average and seemed over priced to us. It is a small restaurant with limited seating which put us at a small table for two close to other people. Will not return.
