Lazy

I ordered 2 eggs scrambled, crispy bacon, grilled homefries with onions and white toast. The only thing properly cooked was the toast. The eggs were an overcooked omelet with nothing in it, the bacon had been deep fried, the homefries were mushy and the onions were raw. I don't know why I keep... read more

Stopped here for breakfast on the way from Winnipeg to Ottawa. We found it very clean, our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was what we expected for a family style diner type restaurant. Fresh and hot and filling at reasonable prices.

Gongas... We found 28$ expensive for a couple sandwiches. My husbands still complaining about it Lol. The sandwiches were fine but nothing memorable. Families really seem to like it for breakfast but we found it pricey for regular fare.

Nothing overly special about Gongas. Food is good, it's not a fancy breakfast place but it's affordable and fast. I've been there a few times and I'll go there in the future.

The food was terrible! There was at minimum 4 tablespoons of mayo (after a request for mayo on the side) on a BLT wrap-only a couple of pieces of bacon a a few chopped tomatoes. The "chef salad" had the end of a tomato in it! The service was good but so disappointing! We will not choose to eat there... More

Always good food. This time I had the Gonga Cheese Dog with the works. Side order of onion rings. Nice sized portion(s) and quite tasty. Price wasn't too gouging like most restaurants in town.

We come here often. No matter what time of day, our preference is the all-day breakfast--I usually have the eggs and pea meal bacon plus home fries with onions and rye toast. I know there is other food (because I do read the menu) but I always go back to the usual. The staff is quick to refill your coffee... More

There is nothing snazzy about Gonga's. It's a busy plaza with poor road access but that doesn't seem to bother others. The place could use a good cleaning but the food is okay.
