Great and cost effective dinner for people looking to get a low maintenance meal before a show. My boyfriend and I found out about the Boar's Head primarily because it could accommodate gluten free (and has a designated menu). We were very pleasantly surprised when we got there for an early but leisurely dinner (sat down around 4:30 and stayed... More

My husband and I went for Sat. night dinner. Service was prompt and efficient. We ate at the outdoor patio. I had Shephard's Pie which was delicious. My husband normally doesn't like this but when he tasted it he said it was fabulous. My husband had the special BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich with a salad which was excellent. Both dinners... More

Great food, awesome service. This is our families favorite. The menu has choices for everyone. My daughter loves the wings (so do I). If you want a pub atmosphere that genuine then you have to come here!

Restaurant had great pub-fare, and great service. Appreciated a separate menu detailing the gluten-free options, of which there were many. Nachos were massive portion, and perhaps even enough for two to share for dinner. The mains were great too, but just couldn't eat all of the food!

Stopped by the Boar's Head after watching a play at the Festival Theatre. We had a room reserved in the Quee's Inn, so we stopped by for some wings (wing night) and a brew. Very nice atmosphere and the wings were great.Very pleasant staff and we were well received and served quickly. Will stop by again on next visit.

I was served chicken wings that still had feathers in it. I'm not talking about one little feather that I could pull out and forget about. I'm talking about a cluster of feathers that went into the deep fryer and then had sauce slathered over them. Unacceptable. I also find the ambiance to be lacking, I felt very uncomfortable.

We need a quick dinner before a show at Stratford so we decided to try the Boar's Head since we are both fans of British pubs and beer. Let me first say that the Boar's Head is nothing like a British pub. There was no real ambiance, just some tables placed around the room with a bar. The selection of... More

Our annual trip to Stratford Festival (25 years and counting) is always finished with a great meal. Keep in mind that there were 25 of us ranging in age from 14 to 89. One of our group had called and made a reservation and was given the Royal treatment. Once we were all there, we had two servers who were... More

Great old hotel. Locals frequent this restaurant. Food is very good and excellent value. Do a little shopping before attending the theatre. Lots of parking next door.

Nice variety on the menu - willing to change it up a bit if you are picky. There were a lot of people there, which indicates people like it (yes, locals). Even though crowded, service was excellent. The food was great - what I had and what my husband had. Clean, friendly, and perfect for watching the World's Cup!
