Great staff. Great drinks. Great food. Great prices. The place is small, so on performance nights be early or be prepared to wait. The soups are wonderful, as are the pot pies, the Shepherd's Pie, and numerous other entrees and sandwiches. Desserts are only okay, but that is fine, you probably won't have room for them after you are done... More

We go here for one thing and that is the delicious Pot Pies. This time we had the steak and mushroom and they were delicious. The food came relatively quickly. The staff was friendly Warm Toffee Pudding was a great dessert to top it all off.

We visited this restaurant before attending the theater on a Saturday evening. The service was poor; one girl working the outside seating area (she said she had been there all day). The drinks were watered down. I ordered a rum and coke and could not taste anything but coke. The same was true for the others at the table. The... More

We have been staying at the Queens Inn, were the Boars Head is located, during our annual family theatre trip for many years. Service has always been great. The beer selection is great and the food is good pub food. All of the Stratford restuarants get very busy before the evening plays including the Boars Head. It can get very... More

Attached to an old hotel, beer garden out front, good selection of taps. Probably a lively spot on game nights, too.

We had lunch at this lovely historic pub with zombie like staff. The food was just okay. We had pizza, wings, and salad.

Great and cost effective dinner for people looking to get a low maintenance meal before a show. My boyfriend and I found out about the Boar's Head primarily because it could accommodate gluten free (and has a designated menu). We were very pleasantly surprised when we got there for an early but leisurely dinner (sat down around 4:30 and stayed... More

My husband and I went for Sat. night dinner. Service was prompt and efficient. We ate at the outdoor patio. I had Shephard's Pie which was delicious. My husband normally doesn't like this but when he tasted it he said it was fabulous. My husband had the special BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich with a salad which was excellent. Both dinners... More

Great food, awesome service. This is our families favorite. The menu has choices for everyone. My daughter loves the wings (so do I). If you want a pub atmosphere that genuine then you have to come here!
