We ate breakfast here while in Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival. The scones are delicious! The others in our party had eggs, bacon, etc. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and we were served in a timely manner, however as they got busier it was slower to get our check and pay. But this did not distract from the pleasant experience we... More

Always a fave with our kids. But always busy at lunch time so make reservations if you can. Good home cooking and all day breakfast. Service very friendly but always slow as usually pnly 2 servers for entire place. Don't forget to pick up your freshly baked scones as you leave. They're SO good and freeze well.

This is a follow-up review of a restaurant I really enjoy. Note: they still have great desserts, but LTEC is a full-service restaurant. Deb Hoy is still the best waitress in North America. However, two people--even highly efficient professionals--simply can't handle all the tasks needed at breakfast. As we were leaving, a party of four and another party of two... More

The service, menu selection and coffee were excellent. We were seated quickly, and served really fast. The selection of pastries was excellent!

What? A problem in the kitchen? Well for heaven's sake, TELL US, and don't leave us for 40 minutes wondering what the heck is going on. What a crappy place, and what awful waiters, who don't make eye contact ast they slither between tables not providing serve. Can't speak about the food...because we never got it!

My wife and I had a good dinner here last year and decided to try the restaurant for breakfast. We really enjoyed the homey atmosphere and great breakfast. My wife had eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce and I had eggs, Mennonite bacon, home fries and toast. Very tasty and good quality and quantity. Service was friendly and efficient. Would eat... Lots of people are very excited about the scones here, but I find them a bit dry and heavy, also quite large. Sandwiches and salads are okay, and there is a fair bit of choice, so this is a decent place to pop into for a quick lunch.

The food here is great! We had some problem finding them as they moved since we were last were recommended to go there, but I'm glad we persisted. Our server was very friendly, making everyone feel welcome, but was she ever over worked! If you are a big breakfast eater, you'll love this place. If you aren't, consider it brunch!

We used to think this place was a solid 3.5, but after tonight, it's a 1. No doubt. Arrived to be informed that All Day Breakfast doesn't mean all day. Ok, whatever. But, the chef can make a basic breakfast if we want. Great. Thanks for doing one thing on your all day breakfast menu - two poached eggs, home... More

It's hard to find great, homemade food anywhere, especially in a 'tourist town' but Let Them Eat Cake has it all! Great tasting, not processed homemade food - chicken quesadillas were the best I've ever had - fresh tasting tomatoes, green peppers, cheddar cheese and grilled chicken. Chalk board specials updated daily - I recommend anything on that list, like... More
