Been twice - going for thrice!

I love this place. I was taken for lunch last week before seeing the Sound of Music, and had a lovely chicken and duck pie with a ceasar salad and a pavlova for dessert. Delicious! Today I took a friend and he had the pie and I had a sensuous crepe with ham, asparagus and a lovely cream and swiss... read more

This upscale restaurant near the Studio Theater offers a sophisticated menu with Asian influences. It tends to be busy so advanced reservations are a must. My problem with their food and their chefs "oops" was that I requested a no salt entree. Obviously there was a breakdown in communication and execution because it was impossible for me to eat the... Our appetizer was the Spring rolls and they were wonderful. Accompanied by a Pinot Grigio, the entree was sliced breast of duck served on shredded red cabbage, finished in port wine. OMG! Then to top off wonderful dining, our dessert was the three part creme brûlée. Almost sinful. Our server was very attentive and kept our wine glasses filled. Highly... More

This restaurant has wonderful food. It has cozy seating though, so if you want a private conversation, you may want to ask for the table closest to the kitchen.

Just got back from visiting Stratford, Ontario for the day. Met some old friends at Keystone Alley Cafe for lunch. Had a 12:30 reservation and arrived about 15 minutes early but was seated right away by a friendly hostess. The place is relatively small and has a patio area in the alley adjacent. We sat inside. Our waitress was a... More

We had dinner after attending an afternoon performance at the Avon Theatre. We dined outside and had a great meal. I had pickerel which was flakey and tasty. My husband had the duck which he loved. I highly recommend this location. Service was attentive and professional.

Great specials at lunch time drew us to this restaurant. I would recommend a reservation (we did not have one, but they kindly found us a table although we saw them later turn others away -- being there when they opened helped us beat the rush). The salmon special over mashed potatoes was fantastic. The mini three-some cream brulees was... More
