Foster's has excellent breakfasts - a step up from the standard diner without getting overly foodie. Standards, plus some less usual offerings. Lunches are good, and they are justifiably proud of their steaks. Less expensive and less pretentious than the higher end restaurants in Stratford (Bijou, Keystone, Bruce, Mercer), excellent value for money, and very good service.

I know that when I come here, I will always have a great dining experience and that the food will be delicious as well as the wine being plentiful and excellent. Great place for outstanding service and great food.

The family was in Stratford on Sunday and decided we needed real food before heading back home. Many of the restaurants were closed, but we found Foster's Inn open at 8pm. Not many people were in the restaurant at the time - ordinarily a worrisome fact. We were seated as old friends and informed that the kitchen had run out... More

What a delicious lunch. 3of us shared 3 delicious and large appetizers, large green salad and I dessert. They were fabulous. Succulent crab cakes, fantastic type of gnocchi filled with fresh local ricotta and tender calamari. Very reasonable also. Easy drive to the theatre

Great service, massive burgers and fun, all inclusive atmosphere. Something of an unofficial 'gay' venue.

We had a great meal. Friendly staff and good service. Restaurant was very busy. Food was hot and never had to wait long.

Tenderloin is the best, good wine and beer selection, very friendly efficient staff. Try it once and you will go back again.

My husband and I went to Fosters on the recommendation of our hotel. It was busy but there were empty tables that still had to be cleaned. After a ten minute wait we were seated, and drinks were brought and orders given - eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros. We actually sat there for an hour waiting for our meal! When... More

I had visited this restaurant in the pars and been quite impressed. My friend and I were there at dinner time, but as we were heading off to see Lear we didn't want a heavy meal. We liked the sound of the gingered carrot coconut soup and ordered that along with an order for, crab cakes and bruschetta with goat's cheese.... More

We eat at Foster's every time we come to the Festival. We're most comfortable planning in advance, so after we bought our theatre tickets last November and arranged for accommodations we booked dinner one evening for Foster's on a night we were seeing something at the Avon Theatre practically next door. I'm sure our reservations were made six months in... More
