Came here last night with my daughter, and we split a two piece halibut dinner. It was more than enough. The fish was so tasty, lightly battered and crisp. The fries were delicious too! Real authentic fish & chips. It's such a quaint little place and we loved it. Had a great conversation with the owner who made us feel... More

Nice spot near the heart of St. Catherines with a wild variety of fish and other foods available. Prices are decent and the fish we had was very nicely done. The fries were fine but the fish is the real treat.

We usually get fish dinners at the last minute. It's always fresh, not overly greasy, coleslaw is great (sweet and sour). We try new items also like their crab wontons, and shrimp. Good traditional batter and fresh cut fries.

I was so hoping that this would be good! I've been searching for great Halibut & chip dinner in St. Catharines and had a real hard time finding a restaurant that served Halibut. How disappointed I was. It's history suggests it's been here forever but I'm thinking it's because they just don't have any competition in this city. Very pricey... More

Had 2 piece Haddock and chips to go, chips were dry and tasteless as was the fish, the 2 orders cost $29.04 and sat like a rock in our stomachs. Way too expensive and a complete waste of time, we felt quite ripped off.

Stumbled onto Frying Guys when I was vacationing in St. Catherines. What a treat. Free parking in the back. My sister and I love our Fish and Chips! We are pretty fussy about how the batter is and taste! We were lucky enough to meet the 2 brothers that were working for Mother that owns the place. Great service and... More

I am currently still feeling nauseous after their haddock and fries . It was just greasy and the onion rings were really greasy - and it's pretty pricey too! I know it's deep fried - but doesn't mean it needs to be greasy with a bad taste! The staff were rude and the Manager at this place was so unprofessional.... More

Good Friday @ this dump! Service was unorganized with phone order customers having preference despite paying customers waiting longer for their orders. The front counter cashier messed up my order and overcharged me. The girl who prepared my order asked if I wanted condiments. I said "sure" which typically means YES! She didn't include the condiments. Overall a horrible experience... More

Not sure why, but their fish can often be greasy. Portions are good. I think the key is to go in on a fish and chip day, (Friday) early when fat is hot and there are not too many fish cooking.
