Great fish and chips

Nice spot near the heart of St. Catherines with a wild variety of fish and other foods available. Prices are decent and the fish we had was very nicely done. The fries were fine but the fish is the real treat.

WE stopped for lunch and was blown away with the great, delicious fish and chips. THey only take cash, so make sure you have canadian money or you will end up paying more with the USD

Went in for a family take out order. Fish batter was soggy and not cooked and chips were overlooked and tasteless. Very disappointed. Won't be returning.

My wife and I stopped for lunch. We both ordered halibut. The fish was cooked well but the pieces were not as large as we remembered. The fries were larger than before and not as good as previous.

Came here last night with my daughter, and we split a two piece halibut dinner. It was more than enough. The fish was so tasty, lightly battered and crisp. The fries were delicious too! Real authentic fish & chips. It's such a quaint little place and we loved it. Had a great conversation with the owner who made us feel... More

We usually get fish dinners at the last minute. It's always fresh, not overly greasy, coleslaw is great (sweet and sour). We try new items also like their crab wontons, and shrimp. Good traditional batter and fresh cut fries.

I was so hoping that this would be good! I've been searching for great Halibut & chip dinner in St. Catharines and had a real hard time finding a restaurant that served Halibut. How disappointed I was. It's history suggests it's been here forever but I'm thinking it's because they just don't have any competition in this city. Very pricey... More

Have been a regular visitor since 1973,even with the change of ownership over the years ,the fish and chips stay the same. British style ,excellent Halibut and Haddock, service is always excellent and very friendly. the best in Ontario... :)

Had 2 piece Haddock and chips to go, chips were dry and tasteless as was the fish, the 2 orders cost $29.04 and sat like a rock in our stomachs. Way too expensive and a complete waste of time, we felt quite ripped off.
