We were out shopping with another couple. Lunch time had passed and they recommended we all go to Ups N' Downs Pub. A cold brew sounded good at the time. We really enjoyed out stop there.

Came on a wing night. Staff was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was impressive, it really did feel like a pub from Europe. Comfortable seating and was not noisy or crowded when we visited. The wings however were mediocre

Have been here many times and really enjoy the atmosphere. It has the feel of an authentic English pub with lots of interesting local memorabilia decorating the walls. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The menu has many selections and any meal I have enjoyed there was fresh, well presented and delicious. Lots of beer choices as well.....and great... More

Food is really good, service is great all the time. Right on the water front. They have a large window that opens up to create an outdoor feel and it overlooks the river. There is also another floor upstairs where you can sit. Food is reasonably priced and you will not be disappointed. I come here quite often with family... More

My wife and I had the opportunity to eat here before going to a show a block away. The menu seems to be taken directly from somewhere in jolly ole' England! Large, fresh, and tasty portions. Good feel to the place; from the wooden boothes and tables to the british music playing over the speakers. Get there early during 'First... More

Neat Little Pub in Downtown Sarnia. There is a lot of variety on the menu and I always get a good meal here (been here 10 or so time in last 5 years). Wasn't expecting curried shrimp or Pad Thai in a Sarnia Pub, but both dishes were very good. Would Definitely recommend.

Definitely not a chain. Great atmosphere, eclectic decorating, reminiscent of pubs I've frequented in Ireland. Food is excellent, clearly prepared on site, not in a factory somewhere. Visited on a Friday evening and it was packed with locals. Friday is curry day. A different curry each Friday, served until it's gone. We'll visit again and again.

Our server, Jennifer, was great! We weren't sure on what to order to drink and she guided us with some great suggestions based on what we told her we like. She was very friendly and helpful. We love the atmosphere on this place. We went later in the night, just for drinks and appetizers. We split the appetizer platter and... More
