We stopped here on our way home from Michigan. We had a full English breakfast (yummy!) and then shopped take away for the homemade pastries and tarts and imported chocolate and jam and pickled onion. Everything was so good !!!

This cozy little spot has such great food. I enjoy their traditional English breakfast and have visited many times. The staff is so nice and friendly and I love the atmosphere. Love the bread pudding !!!! They also have a nice selection of imported English confections. Then there is a display case with a variety of freshly made steak pies... More

Scottish brogues and British accents are par for the course here at this wonderfully intimate restaurant and tea room. Go there now. You will love this place. The pasties are to die for -- Irene is the owner and she is just so wonderful as she explains the English specialties. Be sure to look in the cold case and in... More

If you like heavy and greasy and over priced then , this is your place ! It would appear that most of the clientele are regulars who are British and like that greasy stuff but it just wasn't our " cup of tea " so to speak !

Traditional breakfast and the best curry around. Fun staff, great service and a tiny diningroom, where good friends meet up daily

This is a small, quaint little resaurant that caters to many British customers. The staff are friendly and efficient. They have a great number of small meat pies that people buy by the carload, but all the eat-in food is also well prepatred and tasty.

Our favorite place in Sarnia! A little corner of England filled with delicious food (nothing like the "Full Monty" and Bakewell tarts and mushy peas and...) along with cups of lovely tea! Makes my mouth water just thinking of it!

if you would have ever told me I would drive 2 hours for Scotch Eggs I would have told you never....but I would be lying. I am deeply addicted to the Scotch Eggs that Irene makes at The British Shoppe. I have tried many of their items on their menus as well as their desserts. Definitely worth the drive from... More
