I really like the atmosphere and feel of Sideways. It is a nice gathering place after work. My only negative comment is that I do not like the chairs...at all. Not comfortable for anyone with any type of back issue or disability. Too high and too uncomfortable. Good for short visits after work..

I was in the area on business with several colleagues and we met here in the evening to have a few drinks and get some dinner. It was easy to find with on-street parking and a few parking lots near by. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent. There were many beers on tap and they also... More

My wife and I dropped in to try this place out on Saturday for the first time -Wow we were very impressed. Great atmosphere, clean, very friendly service and outstanding food. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend trying this place and will definitely be back.

March 26 was our 3rd time going to Sideways. The first 2 times that we have gone there the food was wonderful and the service was awesome. On Wednesday the service was terrible! When we walked in the door we were shouted at across the bar by the bartender asking us if a table at the front would work best... More

The food at this VERY poorly lit pub (good luck reading the menu!), is actually not too bad. Hit and miss. They charge entre prices for appies, which is standard these days. The entrees are almost always far too salty. The prices here do not line up with the quality of the food being presented. Service is also unpredictable. You... More

The menu is limited which is good. You are not there for hours trying to figure it out but not food allergen friendly. However, When I have been there the chef personally comes out and chats with me and gives me suggestions which I in turn leave up to her. So for that, I thank you and keep doing what... More

Love the decor.... cozy, old school brick wall look... that hip downtown old building feel. Wish there was more places like this! Whoever invented the gourmet poutine is a genius! Its a meal all in itself. The burger is also great. Don't let the kinda high price tag scare you, you will get your money's worth on these two ordinary... More
