Saturday Afternoon Delight

My daughter and I visited Sideways for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised! I'm not a fan of poutine, however, I ordered Philly Cheesesteak Poutine and it was delicious - not heavy on the fries and gravy, just right and topped with delicious shaved prime rib, cheese curds and... read more

Smallish place in downtown Sarnia. Food was delicious and staff excellent and friendly. St.Clair riverfront across street as well as specialty boutiques.

Great place to go for lunch and dinner. The food is good and the service is good too. We have been here with larger groups (10 or so) and unless you get the big table at the back it is kind of awkward but the staff is accommodating.

One of my favourite places. The chef makes some of the best wings from Sirache Coconut and Lime to Lemon Pepper to Jalapeno and Cheddar ... The Wonton Nachos are amazing as well. Great place for some drinks, food and atmosphere with friends.

Every meal we have had here has been fantastic. They have a great selection of craft beers and the chicken wings and salads are amazing! The service is good and the atmosphere is ok too. Only thing I would change is to make it bigger, there never seems to be enough tables.

Met with a friend for dinner and conversation. Service was adequate at first, as only 2 tables were used, but as the evening progressed and the restaurant filled, the service slowed noticeably. Beef curry dish was a little bland, but plentiful, soup was too thin and not very tasteful, nachos were fantastic. Bottom line, get the nachos.

We visited at lunch and had the classic burger and a chicken curry poutine (yummmmy). Both were outstanding - the burger was cooked to perfection and was absolutely deliciously grilled. If it's your first time to the restaurant - get the burger..you won't be disappointed. The salad with the candied cashews and poached pairs is a really nice change from... More

Been here a few times and will keep coming back for the burgers and poutine. Last time I had the classic sideways burger and the pulled pork poutine. The pulled pork poutine wasn't on the menu but I asked the waitress and she said she could make it happen. Awesome. topped the meal off with a spicy Caesar and it... More

Like the atmosphere, very pretty and quaint. It's loud though. I ordered the bacon poutine and paid $12 for it. It was tasty but I think there was a total of ten french fries on the plate, I expect a heaping plate for that price. You want repeat customers, load the plates. It's not like it cost a lot of... I've been here a few times for dinner or just for drinks and snacks. I have never been disappointed. The funky wing flavours keep me coming back. Dill pickle wings?!?!?! COME ON!!! That's AMAZING!!!! The servers have always been friendly. I love it when you're served by a relaxed individual who will joke around with you. The last time I... More
