My daughter and I visited Sideways for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised! I'm not a fan of poutine, however, I ordered Philly Cheesesteak Poutine and it was delicious - not heavy on the fries and gravy, just right and topped with delicious shaved prime rib, cheese curds and horseradish sauce - certainly tickled the taste buds!!! Service... More

Met with a friend for dinner and conversation. Service was adequate at first, as only 2 tables were used, but as the evening progressed and the restaurant filled, the service slowed noticeably. Beef curry dish was a little bland, but plentiful, soup was too thin and not very tasteful, nachos were fantastic. Bottom line, get the nachos.

We visited at lunch and had the classic burger and a chicken curry poutine (yummmmy). Both were outstanding - the burger was cooked to perfection and was absolutely deliciously grilled. If it's your first time to the restaurant - get the burger..you won't be disappointed. The salad with the candied cashews and poached pairs is a really nice change from... More

Been here a few times and will keep coming back for the burgers and poutine. Last time I had the classic sideways burger and the pulled pork poutine. The pulled pork poutine wasn't on the menu but I asked the waitress and she said she could make it happen. Awesome. topped the meal off with a spicy Caesar and it... More

Like the atmosphere, very pretty and quaint. It's loud though. I ordered the bacon poutine and paid $12 for it. It was tasty but I think there was a total of ten french fries on the plate, I expect a heaping plate for that price. You want repeat customers, load the plates. It's not like it cost a lot of... I've been here a few times for dinner or just for drinks and snacks. I have never been disappointed. The funky wing flavours keep me coming back. Dill pickle wings?!?!?! COME ON!!! That's AMAZING!!!! The servers have always been friendly. I love it when you're served by a relaxed individual who will joke around with you. The last time I... More

A great addition to our downtown. Between the 4 if of us we enjoyed nachos, wings, burgers and the chicken tetrazzini. So good. Busy place and they don't take reservations. But it was Friday night and worth the 45 minute wait. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and absolutely wonderful menu; have not ever been disappointed. Limited seating is part of the experience and definitely worth the wait.

Went for drinks with friends... Impressed with the atmosphere, setup and decor of the bar. Did not eat so cannot comment on the food but have heard good things. Service was horrible. Waited for drink refills, sat for 20 mins with an empty glass. Couldnt get a bill when I wanted to leave. Finally stood up and did all but... More

Have been there several times, like the fish & chips. We waited 45 min. For a table this time, no one let us know when we might expect a table. One became available (4). Thought the bartender was coming to seat us instead 4 people had just walked in & she took them to the table. We said that after... More
