38 Degrees is no longer. Evan Podd and Kelly Green-Podd sold the business to devote more time to their other venture, the Old Bridge Inn in Young’s Point. The popular Italian restaurant that operated on Hunter St. W. for 17 years before closing in September 2010, is back. Steve Nichols, 44, the chef from Day One in the family business,... More

I got there early and was pleasantly greeted and seated. I ordered a puff pastry escargot dish that was quite tasty. Main course of rib steak was excellent. Good portion of steak. It was juicy and accompanied by a wonderful mixture of five different fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. I would return on my next Peterborough visit.

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. The salad and dressing were wonderful as was the mushroom risotto. The number and quality of vegetables served was the best we'd ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised with the small caraf of wine they gave as a glass. The service was terrific!

This is a place to go to for a special celebrations. The decor is rustic elegance. They have a chef and a pastry chef who prepare food that is fresh, local, prepared with expertise and with appropriate wine pairings. Service was excellent. Need to make reservations a head of time.

I visited the restaurant early on a Tuesday evening, and had the full attention of the waitstaff, as I was initially their only customer. I ordered their soup of the day - tomato/ginger, and it was fantastic. I also ordered the salmon off thr menu, but requested extra veg instead of rice. It came with 6 different vegetables, all prepared... More

Good food and nice dining experience. The rack of lamb was not meaty enough. The salmon was delicious and great to seem generous portion of fresh cooked vegetables!

My husband and I went out to 38 Degrees last week, and the food was excellent! I had a steak special, it was cooked perfectly with a yummy sauce and the vegetables were delicious! The waitress was very attentive and we will be returning!

I've seen a few reviews complaining about slow service but it was excellent the night we were there - perhaps to do with it being pretty quiet? It was an interesting menu and all the food we had was good. The wine list was fine although there aren't many by the glass - not that that is peculiar to this... More

Went for dinner, first impression was the lack of selection for wines by the glass. Both of us ordered the filet mignon special to be cooked "medium". Our salad was served promptly, but we then waited for a very long time for our main course. Two people came in and stood at the bar, and left a little while later... More
