Here for Sunday brunch. The options sounded mouth watering. We each chose something different, adding the lavender shortbread on the recommendation of another reviewer. This place gives off a hip vibe, complete with local artists' work and your choice of coffee mugs culled from radio station freebies or choices from granny's kitchen. Verdict? Food...very yummy and beautifully presented. Portions...more than... More

Coffee is fantastic and all there homemade snacks are delicious. I also like to go for a good tea. The service is always good and very friendly. They are open late in the evening and have a backyard patio in the summer. Books and table games are available and free to use.

I visit friends in Peterborough on a semi regular basis, and this is where we go for coffee. It's open fairly late, (a rare occurrence in the 'borough) and I have not had a bad cup of coffee yet. The desserts are sweet and worth the price; I should really try something else on the menu, but the cheese cake... More

Delicious brunch options. They also have amazing lavender shortbread cookies. Try one! Tiny little front patio, but a great place to sit. Friendly staff.

I love it in here! Great coffee and desserts, I have never tried their savoury dishes but the sweets are great, vegan and gluten free options, great atmosphere and outdoor sitting as an option.Great place to go for coffee!

This is a really cozy cafe with amazing desserts. The chocolate cake is amazing, and so are the coconut-raspberry bars. That's not saying the rest isn't good, because it's great! Those were the 2 desserts that stood out. The staff was also really nice and helpful, despite a new employee who we had some trouble with. The good thing is... More

I've had the chocolate cake twice now and I'm telling you it is the best darn cake in the world. I had it at a friends house party and I went into the shop for a piece another day. Wow. Go get the chocolate cake. There are no words. You will not be disappointed. The shop is small and awkward... More

Met some friends after work for coffee & desert. My coffee was excellent but when my friend ordered hers, they said they had no more vanilla. Sat in back room which was comfy but without a decent heating system on a very frigid January day, we couldn't even take our jackets off and as a result did not stay long.... More

I found the baked goods dry and nothing to write home about.to be honest the cookies from costco are better. Its hipster heaven if you're into that.which i am not. And the hipster wannabe "earthy..politically correct convos" are a boring. You can smell the fake smiles. Will never return.

I am intolerant to gluten and Black Honey always has decadent gluten free offerings. The portions are reasonable and so is the price for the quality of the food. The place is small and I have never felt like staying to eat as I would feel like I was on display so I always take my food to go.
