I went to The Planet based on the good reviews of my friend only to find the quality of food, service and cleanliness to be poor. When we walked in we had to wait 5 minutes before we gave in and asked to be served. I ordered a spinach feta quiche which was bland to start and then became more... More

I ate at this Lady of Guadalupe unofficial Canadian Shrine in early December. The bakery is quite good and the food is done well though nothing spectacular. This place is perfect for a stop over meal on your way to somewhere else. It's got the sort of retro-meets-Texarkana-meets vegetarian crowd; nothing fancy and nothing to dislike either. Very original for... More

This is about the Planet location at the Trent gym as I couldn't find a better place for this review - however I do feel like something should be said about the north location as it's poor quality. People behind the counter are often distant/aloof and only seem friendly to the regulars/people who work for the AC - I would... More

Came with friends for someone's b-day lunch a couple of years ago. Waited too long for service but the food was very, very tasty. I ordered the walnut burger with salad. It was superb. Again waited far too long to pay at the counter. Haven't been back. Maybe b/c of the service or just b/c I forget about it.

The food at the Planet is so delicious that it should probably be the first step in converting people to vegetarianism! The only issue I ever have is deciding whether to order breakfast or lunch. The breakfast burrito is delicious, healthy, and so satisfying. The walnut burger is so tasty - my favorite meatless burger ever (which as any vegetarian... More

The planet has a great atmosphere, charming staff, and some of the best food I've ever eaten. They have creative, fresh cuisine and take care to obtain local ingredients whenever possible. Absolutely delicious.

I visit here regularly, and they always have fresh, homemade, and healthy food. The staff is very nice and the place is pretty laid back. Breakfast is always amazing. I bring my family here who are huge meat eaters and they never notice it's vegetarian.

It's deceiving from the outside, how large this place is. I went for an amazing breakfast, the Texan Omelette, with baked in-house Potato Cheese Toast. It tasted very fresh, and service was fast and friendly. It's a "Funky" spot, with lots of Character. Don't pass-by this spot!

Always excited to find an eating establishment that has good gluten free options. The breakfast burrito was delicious and filling. Loved the potato cheddar bread too. They can accommodate larger groups - there were 7 of us. Tip - they only accept cash so plan ahead.

I had previously dined for lunch at "The Planet" and had a decent experience, quite enjoying the vegetarian fare and raving to my friend that we must go. So we did, today. Today, however, was unfortunate. The food was pretty tasty, but for $12, I had the quesadilla special, a quesadilla filled with chili potatoes, goat cheese, and spinach. There... More
