While the sign looks promising and inviting, this was a disappointment as far as lunch places go. First two things we asked for were not available. Salad was full of wilted lettuce. Waitress forgot to bring part of one meal until we were finished. Seems like Mark has left town. Too bad.

Having had the week-end brunch many times and recognizing that it is the brunch that makes Marks famous in Peterborough - I was surprised to find that the Reuben sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. I used to have Reubens' on a regular basis but avoided them because of the calories - and I am not... More

My family ate here for a birthday celebration - we were a large group with 5 kids. From the moment I walked in, all I could think of was that this place was dirty. The floors had food on them, our vinyl tablecloth was sticky and there were cobwebs hanging above. I took my son to the ladies washroom because... More

Whether it is to hang out on a Saturday afternoon listening to the "live jam" upstairs, playing cards and having a drink, or for a birthday brunch buffet served by Mark himself, this is one of my favourite fun places to visit in town. ( did I mention the whole upstairs level is basically a play area for adults, complete... More

While looking for someplace for breakfast, we found Mark's. It had a unique look with a lot of cars in the lot, so we stopped. We were told there was a breakfast buffet, coffee not included. We felt that it was a little expensive but we were willing to try it. The omelets were large and tasted quite good. The... More

Difficult to rate this place. I had liver and onions with the side salad upgrade. The liver was one of the best pieces of liver I have ever had, cooked to perfection and no sinews. The french fries were hot but that is the best I can say and the rest of the veggies were dreadful. But my salad was... More

My lady and I both ordered the "strip loin" medium rare. I asked if it was triple a Angus and she assured me it was. What we got was "sirloin" rare. Not the same thing! We were never told that the special of the night was ribs as we probably would have ordered that instead. Service was good and may... More

We only stopped in for breakfast and what a delight it was. Eggs Benedict made fresh or how about a phily cheese steak omelette, great coffee and quick service. We left kind of dazed at how amazing it was. Weekend breakfast's here should be a must.

I had heard good things about this place so me and some friends thought we would go check it out. The service was great but the food was horrific. I had ordered the chicken parm and cesar salad. The food didnt take long to come out - but there were only 2 other tables at the time. The cesar salad... More

I was part of the group that 'dined' last night. Banquet style service was very disorganized with a long wait between salad and main course. The salad was fresh with just the right amount of dressing. Then the main course... I was willing to give it a go as the presentation was unappealing. Dry mashed potatoes (who serves mashed potatoes... More
